Theo's mom here. As many of his friends know, he's been very sick lately with liver failure. We lost him today. He was 8. My heart is breaking.

My 6-year-old still wants me to sit in her bed until she falls asleep. I was annoyed at first, but I know the days of her asking won’t last much longer, so I’ve started to truly cherish watching her safely drift off to sleep every night.

@notquiteold Yes...it's worse at first but then gets less and less but never goes away.

Now when you get a tickle in your throat or a little headache you worry that it’s something so much worse. It’s a terrible worry. I wonder if - maybe - cancer survivors feel that way the whole rest of their lives. OMG, guys.
