This morning, together with the Minister in charge of Government Communications, Hon. Felix Kwakye Ofosu , we inspected the 24,534 pieces of equipment procured in preparation for President John Mahama’s flagship #FreePrimaryHealthcare programme. The equipment includes baby incubators, radiant warmers, oxygen concentrators, X-ray machines, vital signs monitors, glucometers, patient monitors, infusion devices, laboratory analysers, delivery beds, hospital beds, and ultrasound machines

We know both from school and practice, that one of the reasons for mortality we see is late presentation. A huge driving factor for this is poverty...
