@bleym12 @dr_bandak @mark1millikan mind you the author of this piece is currently one of the heads of the lab scientists at KBTH and he referred to himself as a laboratory physician here. I believe there’s more to this than what is being reported.

@dr_bandak Laboratory physicians are asking to be allowed to work in the labs, to do the things they are trained to do. They acknowledge the importance of the scientists and the work they do however unfortunately the scientists don't want the physicians in the lab

@_oaklight Personally, I will always welcome social interventions that applies to everyone, especially those in dire need.
We know both from school and practice, that one of the reasons for mortality we see is late presentation. A huge driving factor for this is poverty...

@jkandue also i have a feeling this will only end up creating chaos because the average Ghanaian probably doesn’t understand what ‘primary’ healthcare entails and when we see the word free, we tend to believe you’ll not pay anything at all. between me and you is that truely possible?
