I’m really struggling with the ableism regarding NDIS. I was a clinical nurse consultant for 30 years, I’ve paid my taxes. I have multiple sclerosis, it took me a long time to swallow my pride and apply for help. The hate on here makes me feel worthless.

@DrewPavlou My friend who works for the DFE told me that there has been a large amount of parents forcing an autism diagnosis on their kids despite them being clearly high functioning and just pocketing the money. Meanwhile my dad lost a leg to DVT and gets nothing. Make it make sense.

@_nomadic_soul Being injected in the heart while in the womb is still painful for the baby, isn’t instant and also doesn’t guarantee still birth babies survive late term abortion often. Mum still has to give birth too. We don’t even know that this baby experienced suffering after birth.

@PaulineHansonOz I think you’re getting this one wrong. It’s the providers that need to be audited. It isn’t easy for parents to get their kids the things they need through ndis. Gosh even blind children don’t qualify for braille materials bc apparently it’s not necessary.

To save the NDIS, we have to stop the rorts, waste and abuse. The scheme must be limited to the severely physically disabled and the care they need. Original forecasts said the NDIS would cost half what it is today. It needs to be returned to that before it sends the country broke.

This ma ordered a new fridge for $1000 from Lowe’s. When it was delivered, the delivery men accidentally dented the right stainless steel panel on the door. The fridge still works great, but there are three unsightly dents. He reached out to Lowe’s and they took $500 off of the total price, so he ended up getting it for only $500. Would you have taken that deal and saved $500 or would you have taken the fridge back and had the give you a new one that was not damaged?

@Eliakim_Art It’s sounds like she has depression and you should try therapy at least for your kids because ultimately if you divorce they still have to live with her only it’ll be worse. Therapy both as a couple and she also should see a dr alone.
