@andreintg I agree. I was able to teach a class of noobs how to make 3d artwork with SDFs in no time at all. All I had to do was ask them to bring an object to class and consider what primitives it was constructed from.

the way I see it it's ok if you don't have time for a donut tutorial or if your art teacher traumatised you and you need a bit of motivation 😌 If used right, this tech can be great for newcomers and handy for professionals. Building walls around it won't put it back in the box.

On Reanimal, I worked a lot on the “Spider kids”, children that don’t just chase you… they climb walls to hunt you down avoiding sunlight. Creepy kids... 😅 Reanimal by Tarsier Studios #animation #gamedev #3d #3danimation #game

@andreintg Anyone can break down their thoughts into steps and speak to a computer. You shouldn’t have to learn specifics of a languages syntax and grammar to make a simple system. You just speak pigeon english and muddle through until you’re both on the same page 😄

I remember when I used to teach #unrealEngine and logic to folks that really struggled with the skill. They hated code, hated blueprints too once they realized it was the same. Today I'd happily start teaching through vibe coding and level up each individual's skills gradually.

@WaterMuseum_ I played the demo and the fishing mechanic was such an interesting evolution. I only really play arcade fishing games. Not simulation. Yours really hit the right notes for me. And much more technically impressive than I ever expected!

SKINFACE demo v2.0 is now out on steam! after an overwhelming interest on itch, we have expanded the demo to give a taste of what a full release might look like. ...but we're running an experiment: we'll only make the full game if we get 10k wishlists! store.steampowered.com/app/4475540/SK…
