@maaverix @GossiTheDog I'm sorry, we don't know the answer to that specific question but if a new app doesn't support LDAPS then maybe that's an indicator of its general security which should influence the decision.

@astrixsystems @GossiTheDog The article was really useful. In essence does this mean that Microsoft no longer supports LDAP? Reason I ask is we have a team that is looking to implement an on prem hosted application that is requires LDAP as single sign on option. We have 2 options use LDAP or replace apps?

@astrixsystems Or you could just do it properly and start auto-renewing which is cheaper and easier...

Surely this is a regressive step as you say Troy, without auto renewal this adds extra cost and effort to security, we need to be making this stuff easier
