@barryluost @KameronAsh2 @mountaineerjdub I agree with you and apparently so did the WVU coaches haha. We signed two of the 3 or 4 best hitters in JUCO. One hit 34 homeruns and the other in the upper 20s. We also signed a high school kid with huge power (Acevedo), but he might get drafted next month and sign.

@barryluost @KameronAsh2 @mountaineerjdub We had the best pitching staff in the Big 12 and one of the 7 or 8 best in the country. We would have outmatched every team in pitching in the CWS except UNC. UNC has arguably the best staff in the country. If anything, our offense wasn't good enough.

The 2026 WVU Baseball team has done for WVU what Lightning McQueen did for Radiator Springs. We’re back on the map, and in a big way. WVU athletics will prosper, and they can all thank this baseball program for getting it started.

WVU Baseball will always be about the people. The people on the team. The people supporting the team. The people of the state. We work everyday to be the best, to accomplish great things and to represent a school and state that has given so much to us. The 2026 @WVUBaseball team is the greatest team in program history. The players who were granted the privilege of wearing WEST VIRGINIA across their chest were the best to ever do it. Congratulations to these players, this staff, and the best fans in the country. It takes all of us… and we’re just getting started.
