NIS INTRODUCES NEW UPDATE TO AID APPLICANTS' PASSPORT TRACKING The Nigeria Immigration Service has updated its passport tracking system. The Service observes that hundreds of passports produced had remained uncollected, leading to increasing complaints from applicants. The new addition, tagged "PRODUCED (PASSPORT PRODUCED, READY FOR COLLECTION)", includes a feature informing applicants when their passports are ready for collection. This update enhances the existing tracking system, and helps applicants stay informed about timelines for passports produced and awaiting collection (for physical collection) or produced but not delivered (for courier delivery). Nigeria Immigration Service remains committed to delivering an efficient system that works for all in line with global best practices.

The Comptroller-General of Nigeria Immigration Service, KN Nandap, pcc, mmis, fsmn, fspsp, earlier today paid a courtesy visit to the Chairman of the Fiscal Responsibility Commission (FRC), Chief Victor Chinemerem Muruako Esq, at the Commission’s Headquarters in Abuja to deepen institutional collaboration and strengthen reporting compliance. In her remarks, the Comptroller-General reaffirmed the Service’s commitment to fiscal discipline, transparency, and full compliance with statutory reporting obligations. The Chairman of the Commission commended the proactive engagement of the Service and its role in enhancing border security. He reiterated the FRC’s commitment to providing technical support to government institutions not only to ensure prudent management of public resources but also in preparation of sound financial reports in line with Fiscal Responsibility Act. Also present were the Deputy Comptroller-General Finance and Accounts Directorate, DCG Saidu Bashir Daura, the Director, Monitoring and Evaluation, Bello Aliyu Gulmare; Director, Legal, Investigation and Enforcement, Barrister Charles Abana; and Deputy Director, Revenue, Mr. Azeez Gbolagade. Mothers pls always follow ur little girls whenever they want to use a public toilet/restroom; Inspect the place before letting 'em go in, & stand right outside the door until they finish.
