In layman terms, a speaker controls what motion is tabled on the floor of parliament and has unfettered authority that is almost iron clad.

The former THREE Kenyan Presidents, the late Jomo Kenyatta, the late Kibaki and the retired President, Uhuru Kenyatta worked for their full terms without disturbance and being told to go home. Why should President Ruto be told go home before his term? How special were the three?

Ruto should apologize to ALL Kenyans — not just North Easterners — for betraying the trust they gave him in August 2022. 🫆Then: polite, humble, pro-hustler. 🫆Now: arrogant, untouchable, full dynasty. 🫆The #MadarakaDay tears in Wajir? Pure crocodile. Pure campaign gimmick. Drama! 🫆It’s an abomination for a grown up African man to routinely shed tears in public -- even when mourning a loved one. Real men cry in the heart! 🫆Best way to cry for/apologize to Kenyans — is action — not fake tears for cameras: Prosecute tax thieves; cut State House and govt lavish budget, stop 5-years car roof-top campaigns; Work for all Kenyans; Cut cost of living; Stop over-taxation, over-borrowing and over-stealing in govt; Stop nepotism; Stop impunity; and give meaning to our National Anthem!

Breaking: The 7 students who set up the Utumishi girls' dormitory ablaze have told investigators they were angered by exams being moved forward, being asked to contribute towards an event, and because a neighbouring school had gone on strike, and they too wanted to be sent home. But if the goal was simply to protest and go home, why set a fire in a dormitory full of sleeping students? Why not wake them up first? Why not do it when the building was empty? Those explanations raise more questions than answers.

Now that you guys are done with your Mama mboga arguments of CCTVs in that Utumishi school, let me,the expert, speak. Anyone whose been in this security field long enough knows that first before anything, even the installation of the cameras,we do what we call a DPIA. Data protection Impact Assessment. Primarily moving within the section 25 of 2019 data protection act that says we can only set up cameras in areas where its needed. And its very clear. Security does not surpass privacy,in anyway manner. In Utumishi the cameras are facing the door, infact its observing the hallway entrance to see who comes in. That is still within the parameters of the data protection act. The real question here should be,who saw it fit to have children sleep in the hallway like refugees. This is a national school for christs sake! Anyway. If any of you are interested in survellience cameras low/high/premium range, reach us via keensight.co.ke we are open from tomorrow! Ruto must Go!

Jomo Kenyatta ruled for 15 years, he never visited Wajir. Moi ruled for 24 years and records are showing he visited Wajir approximately 10-15 times (this has shocked me) Kibaki ruled for 10 years and he visited Wajir only once. Uhuru ruled for 10 years and he visited Wajir twice. HE Ruto in 4 years, he has visited Wajir 5 times and not with empty hands but with tangible long term investments. In 10 years of his leadership God willing, North Eastern will be the greatest beneficiary.

Hypocrite! Rubbish! Utter nonsense!

It is Madaraka Day again and the stage has been moved to Wajir County. As Mr. William Ruto takes to Wajir County to address the nation on this Madaraka Day, he must answer several questions to the people of Wajir. The leaders mobilized to clap and cheer him into fake promises and lies especially the leaders of Northern Kenya must tell the people of Wajir why they have no good schools, hospitals, security, food safety, bad infrastructure among others. Holding the celebrations in Wajir is mocking them as they have nothing to celebrate. Mr. William Ruto, Wajir town has no functioning sewerage system, power rationing is their daily pain. They have no water. Feeder roads and main roads in and out of Wajir are in a deplorable state. Please take 20 minutes and tell the people of Wajir what happened to their electricity, roads, security, trade, agriculture, social Security and dignity of their lives. Tell them how your poor policy has caused them great pain and that they will take years to recover. Take time and tell the people of Wajir County what was more immediate a need to them; a stadium or clean water, a sewerage system, schools, or hospitals well equipped? You should apologize to the people of Wajir for the Wagalla massacre and assure them it will not happen again. You must assure the people of Kenya that there will be no massacre in 2027 or a repeat of 2007 where you know what role you played! The People of Wajir must be shown by their leaders and yourself where the over Kshs. 192 Billion is since the advent of devolution in 2013 and Billions in CDF! There is nothing to celebrate on this Madaraka Day for the people of Wajir and the 55 million Kenyans who continue to carry the brunt of a bad economy and lawlessness perpetuated by this kakistocracy.

Politics is about perception. Whether ODM ferried supporters to Kirembe grounds or not, the crux of the matter is that people attended, and it was full to the brim. People at home listening on radios do not know of your assertions. All they will hear is that ODM held a very successful rally. When Ruto was campaigning against Raila, he used to ferry people all over. Sooner or later, people believed that Ruto had the masses equal to Raila's. Ruto went ahead to win elections. The masses are being prepared. Soon, it will become a norm that ODM fills its rallies to the max. Reality does not matter. Perception does. It is all about optics.

Sometimes Christianity gets confusing. Christians say Jesus will return to judge humanity. But here’s the question: If he already died to take away sin… what exactly is left to judge? Is the debt fully paid or just partially covered? Because if it’s truly "finished," then what’s the judgment about?

@HonJNyakundi @GideonKimaiyo_ @TimKipchumba @NjiruAdv @psmuthoni We have no problem with the quarantine facility but we have a BIG problem with the people who made a deal to allow importation of ebola patients into the country and that the facility will only be used by specific individuals, so we know who the enemy is 🤨

Why crucify H.E President William Ruto over a deal that was entered into during the tenure of Uhuru Kenyatta? If you're looking for accountability, start by checking who signed on the dotted line. Know the FACT'S first, then direct Ebola issue criticism where it belongs.

@BillowKerrow We as Kenyan citizens don't need to be recognized by any politicians as citizens, its you the leaders of NE who nurtured that perception in your people. About the profiling, why not stop using the 'somalia community' coz it seem to creat all this negative perception?

For folks in NE Kenya, it's not about the Madaraka Day event. Not about the Wajir stadium. It's about the recognition that it's part of this nation; that residents are citizens with equal rights as others; that development is not a favour to us; and that official discrimination of the region by policymakers is being buried, insha Allah. It’s a pushbback against those who profile NE Kenya as 'Somalia', brand the residents 'foreigners' not deserving Kenyan identity, who see the residents as 'terrorists' and who label development in this region as a favour. This day marks a paradigm shift institutionalised by the President which repudiates the decades-old policy of marginalization by those who feel entitled/ priviledged in this nation. It symbolises our seat at the table as equals, not as part of the menu. This is what Wajir is all about. Going forward, hatubanduki insha Allah. Best wishes to all Kenyans on this great day! @WilliamsRuto
