@mattwallswine I draw the line at all products made from animals (meat, leather) or derived from the intentional use of a live animal (honey, silk) because I believe people should not have the right to (unnecessarily) end a life, hurt a living being or make it do things against its will.

Question: given that some biodynamic preparations involve animal parts, can a genuinely biodynamic wine ever truly be described as vegan or vegetarian?

@jamiegoode It’s a low capex way to dress your bottle. It’s not small new producers being ‘faddy’, it’s them getting a good looking bottle on the market with a cork/diam closure for the cost of an old saucepan and a bag of wax.
