My incredible, beautiful Zia (aunt) passed away yesterday. Nobody in my family was shocked, she's been battling for years, but it's still a devastating loss for me. My focus right now is my family, especially my cousins, but I also wanna keep working as it helps me keep going

One of my biggest regrets of TIFF last year was missing Obsession. It was in my schedule multiple times but for one reason or another, I wasn't able to see it. And after all the rave buzz, I was kicking myself.

The Supriya Ganesh Emmy campaign for the 2nd season of #ThePitt starts now because HBO, Noah Wyle and co. sure af won't lift a finger for getting her her much deserved flowers for this performance.
Hollywood should also lock in ASAP and offer her promising films left and right.

@JustSayRad I think that Sinners having Original Screenplay wins at both WGA and BAFTA (where it actually was competing against Sentimental Value) is enough to where you can be confident about it being a lock for that Oscar - which I very much am 😂

Original Screenplay could go to Sentimental Value, because this category tends to favour more wordy and comical contenders over serious and meaningful. I know Sinners is the predicted winner largely because of its WGA win. But Sentimental Value wasn't qualified to compete there.

I adore Sinners. It's my fave in the best picture lineup outside of OBAA and The Secret Agent. Happy to cheer on a Sinners sweep, which would be deserved and inspiring.
But I'm also wary of a scenario where it could end up with way fewer awards than people expect.
