IF Artemis 2 explodes during launch: Unlike the shuttle, Artemis is designed with a crew capsule escape mechanism. The capsule will immediately fire its own engines and blast itself away from the explosion blast and parachute safely down. That's because Challenger taught us that the crew capsule easily survives a tank explosion. In fact the Challenger crew were alive inside a fully intact crew capsule for several minutes. They died hitting the water because there was no parachute. Artemis has corrected for that. So, if it explodes on launch don't assume the crew is lost. Wait until the crew capsule recovery efforts. There's a good chance the crew will survive. #Artemis2

Can someone explain why we’re only planning to orbit the moon instead of landing on it? With all the money being spent just to go around it, it definitely raises questions about how we managed to land there before.

FOX: Among the crew are the first woman, first person of color and first Canadian on a lunar mission. There's a lot of firsts happening.

99.9% of people who "experienced" the Challenger disaster saw it on replay and now remember it as live. Almost NO ONE was watching. Everyone thinks they were. It's a fascinating collective false memory.
