@AskJentoft Both libraries dont have famous indie games 🫠
Both make game devs build integrations, debug gui, workflows. Not games.
I think those tools will be great in the future but not now

Three.js is CPU limited by JavaScript. Bevy on the other hand…
> compiles to WASM
> cache optimized ECS game engine
> code first
> WebGPU + WebTransport
> also builds to native: windows, Linux, macOS, android, iOS
WASM has a way to go still, lacking multithreading and it needs to be glued by JavaScript, but this is being worked on.
Piers Kicks@pierskicks
Three.js + WebGPU = a modern Flash games boom > Ships to 5B+ users, near-native GPU performance > No platform rake, app store, or custom runtime > Devs own their distribution + monetisation > AI can now vibe code the games for you The only missing piece is the discovery layer

@chamchi_dev This is Unity, project is about 4 years old at this point, been quite a journey to get here😅

@alightinastorm Threejs doesnt have APV, lumen, lightmap baking(can load but you need to bake it in blender which needs additional efforts)

@alightinastorm LOL Have you ever seen a AAA grade enterprise-level complete game with threejs?
You can build it with unreal, not threejs.
Even if you make indie grade games, unity has more solid tools than threejs.
Threejs cant beat native engine. Both performance and number of tools

ThreeJS
> Launches instantly
> 200 KB
> No overhead
> Runs in the browser
> WYSIWYG
> Has no accounts
> Fully free
What's the point of any other engine?

Captain Ziri (ⴰⵎⵣⵡⴰⵔ ⵣⵉⵔⵉ) ꑭ@NormBreaker3
>Has all the functionalities Unity has >Launches in seconds >Light weight with only 100MB of storage and 1GB of RAM vs 10-20GB of storage and 4GB of RAM >Flexible architecture >No bloatware >Doesn't force you to create an account >fully free What's the point of Unity?

@alightinastorm Building games with threejs need countless time of making/finding custom tools and doing additional optimizations

We just shipped SuperCmd - The ultimate open-source alternative to @raycast 🚀
The wildest part? Every Raycast extension already works with it. Zero migration. Just install and go.
What's inside:
→ Voice dictation support via @elevenlabs Whisper
→ Read anything from any app aloud in natural voice with SuperCmd Read
→ Full AI support, even with Ollama (no API key needed).
→ Memory recall via @supermemory (works even offline!). Open AI prompt in any app and just ask
What's next? I'm experimenting with AI skills integration. @openclaw is amazing, but not everyone is technical enough to unlock its full potential. I want to bring those skills to your fingertips with SuperCmd - no setup needed.
Try it → supercmd.sh
Contribute → github.com/SuperCmdLabs/S…
Drop your most-used Raycast extension below 👇 let's see if it works.

@onirenaud Looks very interesting.
What's the main purpose of this tool?
Massive collection of random cool features or game development toolkit? Or both?
