They, and all Christians, have the authority to declare on God's behalf that someone is forgiven when they repent of their sins and receive Christ as Savior. They have authority to declare that someone is unforgiven when they happen to repented and received Jesus. What they don't have is the willy-nilly authority to forgive or not forgive sins on a whim. Also, this authority is given to all believers not just the apostles. God bless you, My friend. I pray for you every time I see your posts. I appreciate how vulnerable you are and willing to share about the things that you have been going through! It's good for all of us.











@CharlesTingler @ProtPhilosopher Except thats not what faith is. Also not what the text says, it literally says "not of works, so that man may boast". And let's look into another writing of Paul where he talked about boasting
