i don't think @JacintaAllanMP has a clue about public transport. making it free for a month just doesn't help many people. my nearest bus stop is a km uphill walk which i can't do. but IF i could i might get to a train station in an hour. then... the train only goes one way here. it is the end of the line. so i'd have to go into richmond at least to get another train out to whenever i wanted to go. all up i reckon 3hrs min, more like 4 to get anywhere else in melbs.

Is that what it was... call me an old romantic, call me "a cooker" call me what you like, but the sad reality is Victoria has sold its soul... evident in things like losing @3AW to interstate, MotoGP to interstate and not only losing, but paying for the Commonwealth Games in Scot-bloody-Land... seriously... you could not be angry enough with what has been allowed to occur in Victoria... the cosmos is not happy, and it shows.
