The Netflix saga is dragging on like an overdrawn bitter divorce and the massive article Variety published on H&M and the inside story of their Netflix deal is a clear illustration of that👌🏽 Variety spoke to six well-placed individuals with knowledge of Netflix and the Sussexes and they claim that "The mood in the Netflix building is ‘We’re done,’” ok then, be done and move on🥱 The insiders further revealed that H&M original Netflix contract was NEVER worth $100 million. Their contract was "roughly around $60 million" and no, they did not see all those millions. Remember that 'As Ever' had 650,000 overstock products that were left unsold in the Netflix warehouse? Well, Variety revealed that it is roughly $10 million that Netflix lost with those products that they paid for🔥 So you can bet your savings, they will recoup it. The gist of the article was this: Initially, H&M had an amazing Window of opportunity for great success in Hollywood and they squandered it from the onset, by focusing on attacking the RF instead of focusing on building their production brand first🔥 In the past 6 years of their Netflix contract, H&M have achieved two major production "successes": 🛑their docuserie "Harry & Meghan” marked the highest documentary debut ever for Netflix. 🛑Their second success was "Spare” which became the fastest-selling nonfiction book according to Guinness World Records, The irony here is that both "successes" actually explain WHY H&M are a failing Brand: Outside of trashing the RF, H&M have failed at absolutely everything that requires actual intelligence, actual talent and creativity, and actual work. Once the RF froze them out, their royal content dried up, and so did their brand and relevance. Now, 6 years out, H&M are running in circles trying to promote productions but that window is long gone and so is the public goodwill toward them.🤷🏽‍♀️ Without Royal validation and royal drama to sell, H&M are chasing the spotlight and unable to achieve anything of value. That is why it is imperative for the RF to keep them far away from the monarchy☕️
