Been deep in Solidity & smart contracts for almost 4 years now. Foundry has hidden gems beyond basics. Lesser-known features: 1. Advanced cheatcodes - vm.etch(address, bytes calldata code) to deploy arbitrary code; vm.mockCall(address, bytes calldata, bytes calldata ret) for mocks 2. Storage manipulation - vm.store(addr, slot, value) / vm.load(addr, slot) for direct EVM state tweaks 3. Multi-fork: vm.createSelectFork("rpc1"); vm.selectFork(id); for testing across chains 4. Gas snapshots - forge snapshot --snap file.snap; forge test --match-snapshot for perf regression checks 5. Flatten - forge flatten src/Contract.sol > flat.sol to merge imports 6. Cast conversions - cast --to-base 1e18 dec for wei->eth; cast --to-unit 1000000000 gwei 7. Breakpoints - vm.breakpoint(bytes32) + forge test --debug for step-through Hope you find them useful as they can save you hours. 🫡
