A person can say "lesbians aren't attracted to trans women" and still be correct if occasionally women who identify as lesbians are. And there's more than 0 examples of anything you can think of. That's why anecdotal evidence doesn't really count.

They can have a positive view of a specific group of people and not be sexually attracted to them. They can see Trans women and women as distinct groups, particularly in cases of sexual attraction.
