Baseball stat that doesn’t make sense to me:
Scherzer goes 7 scoreless. Comes out in a 0-0 game.
May comes in & gives up 2 runs in the 8th.
Mets score 5 the following inning & May gets the W.
I feel like Scherzer should get the W…even if May had pitched a scoreless 8th.
