The Brand once again took home Best in the Nation honors at the annual @CollSportsComm Creative & Digital Design Contest!

Mackenzie McMahon, Hope College’s sports information manager, received a Best in Division III distinction in the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators Creative and Digital Contest for her work celebrating national champion swimmer Greta Gidley.

Congratulations to our very own Director of Creative Media on his CSC Creative & Digital Design Contest awards! Jordan was named a finalist for the 2nd time in the photo portfolio contest, one of 13 people to repeat as a finalist in all portfolio categories and received Best of NAIA for the 3rd consecutive year, the most since the contest category was added in 2022-23. A little late, but I’m incredibly grateful to have earned 3rd Place in the @CollSportsComm Designer of the Year contest. To be recognized alongside so many talented creatives across college athletics is truly an honor. Having joined Oklahoma State in December, I’m especially thankful for the opportunity to contribute to a program that has welcomed and inspired me from day one. My time on the @CollSportsComm executive board came to a close on June 10… while I am sad I missed the last few meetings at the convention, I can look back at the last two years and know we (as a board) worked hard for our membership and put some things in place for the future. The amazing friendships that were developed during that time will not be forgotten. While I was not able to be there, I did have a special “care” package waiting on me when I got home. And, yes, while I was being recognized for the Bob Kenworthy Community Service Award, I was serving on a mission trip in Nairobi, Kenya. Look forward to seeing what the current board will do under the leadership of @Matt_Panto

Wellman is the sole communications professional to Riverside City College's 19-sport athletics program and is also chair of the CSC 'U Committee,' dedicated to helping provide athletics communicators all over the country with professional development opportunities.
