Hello everyone, One of my followers experienced something serious, and it needs attention 🚨 On 22 January 2025, she used Changelly ( @Changelly_team ) (Tx id: bddjttr5v3xod46w) to swap BTC → USDT (TRC20) through her SafePal wallet. Before that, she conducted small test swaps, and that worked perfectly. But when she swapped her final large amount, everything went wrong. The BTC was successfully sent from her wallet to the address provided by Changelly, but the USDT never arrived in her SafePal wallet. (Must Read to understand, Please retweet max) 👉 Let us assume XYZ company brings an IPO of 12000 Cr 👉 As per current rules: 🔹 Retail gets 35% quota, So they will get, 4200 Cr worth of shares 👉 As per proposed rules: 🔸 Retail will get 35% quota for first 5000 Cr This is fine, so retail will get 1750 Cr (A) from here - Above 5000 Cr, retail has to be given minimum 10% of remaining issue size, to the extent, that retail still gets 25% of the net issue - So, as per our example, 10% of 7000 Cr (12000-5000 Cr), retail gets 700 Cr (B) - Sum of A+B = 2450 Cr (1750 + 700 Cr) - But retail has to be given minimum 25% of the issue size. So, in our case 25% of 12000 Cr is = 3000 Cr - So, net issue size for retail will be 3000 Cr in PROPOSED NEW RULES, but it is 4200 Cr in CURRENT RULES. - In our example, This is a massive 28% cut in retail size just by implementation of one random rule. 👉 My Questions: - How exactly is this rule helping retail investors? - How can influencers be so dumb calling this rule as game changing?
