@cyclothinker Yes, except at the end of the year, when they need points, they starts racing everything, including asia.

No ProTeam raced the Tour du Rwanda; only these WT and ProTeams were in Taiwan. Points are the same as any European 2.1 race—just with more chances to score. Remember these teams (the smart ones) at year’s end if they reach their goals or others miss out for 100-200 pts.

@cyclothinker Correct, but then if you miss a GT invitation for 200 points or a WT license, you have gained more money than the one you spent for the travelling as you get better sponsor deals.

Solid edition of Milano-Torino. Shocked that Roglic couldn't follow that move from Pidcock. Roglic never looked under pressure. But Pidcock planned his attack perfectly right before the left corner.

Is the final climb different than usual in Nokere Koerse? That looked WAY harder than I remember and I thought they only changed the run in to the Nokereberg.

@cyclothinker The final climb was changed last year. Chances of crashes are slimmer than on Nokere Berg. Yet, in the last 15 k before the finish, there are some added small cobbled sections. Last 4 to 5 k is basicly the same like last year.

@R0ad_run Disagree. He has proven he can do 100 k solos. It is not flat from the capis to the finish. And there won’t be domestiques in this scenario to pull him back

@cyclothinker Nothing you said here makes sense. No reason for pog to go on the capis. He will have 40 km alone or another rider on terrain that is very much suited for big bunch. It not hard enough up to this point for him to go alone because the rest of the peloton will be pretty fresh.

Ok twitter-verse, what are your thoughts? Send Vermeesch and Grosschartner into the break. Have Novak and McNulty pace the lower slopes of the Passo del Turchino and have, Christen smash the steep slopes. Then IDT and Pogi go over together with the satellite riders taking (1/2)
