@6Merican These are all terraces of multiple houses. They're literally rows of single family homes.

@da5705 …bud, these are not “middle class, single family homes”. People don’t own their own plot of land. These are historically preserved, million+ dollar properties.

@BarbeloPleroma We were in the Hyatt Grand Central in NYC - the alley from 42nd to Time Square past H&M looked like something from an 70s movie and smelt like a portaloo in Basra at midday. Obviously the whole city isn't like that but the number of highly visible homeless genuinely shocked me.

@BarbeloPleroma Sadly in live in Lisburn, not Lisbon. Similar spelling but slightly different climate, architecture and standard of cuisine!

@6Merican You're not seriously claiming that American cities don't have rough areas are you?

@da5705 Mike, you're just wrong. There are no more homeless people on the streets of New York than there are on the streets of London or Paris, and every income decile is less wealthy in Europe. Nowhere in America looks like this. Stop being an envious, lying retard

@6Merican We don't generally have massive detached houses in our cities, because there was never that much room in city centres even back then, but it's safe to say we do also have the ultimate detached houses out in the country too

@6Merican There's areas in literally every British city where the richer families used to live - ship's officers and shipping line officials in Liverpool and Bristol, linen magnates and shipyard management in Belfast, cotton mill owners across Lancashire, the list is endless.

@rebekkarnold I understand the need for uniform but shit like this just makes no sense. It's a record breaking heat wave, just let the poor fuckers go in wearing PE kit for the week or at least let them cut down to shirt/blouse and trousers/skirt!

So, people have been asking me my thoughts on Trump’s mishandling of the Lincoln Memorial Reflection Pool. My response. Why isn’t Trump in prison for sexually assaulting children on Epstein’s perverted island?
