@anng27 Again, totally understood. As for me, it seems like the computer-industry half of my social network has mostly landed there, along with a growing chunk of the remainder.
My best guess is that you will already find a lot of familiar names there.

@anng27 Agreed that Discord is okay for siloed community chat, but I wouldn't want to use it beyond that.
Yeah, I use the term "fediverse" as an umbrella but do specifically mean Mastodon as the closest analog to Twitter.

So here's the thing. You can only violate people's legal rights and your own word so far before they lawyer up and come after you.
I really do hope Musk changes his mind and does the right thing - the employees deserve that. But it'll be fun as hell if he doesn't.
