@harukaawake At least in general this type of human cancer that has metastasized is in general readily identifiable. It's harder in the US as they ruin their host state, realizes it sucks there, then go to another state, voting/pushing for the same things that ruined the last state.

I also like using the waist/height ratio too Though 'overweight into obese' I think are incorrect descriptions and should be more 'metabolically unhealthy' to 'even more metabolically unhealthy' though with just the waist, it's only taking into account the abdominal/visceral fat distribution of cortisol (arguably the worst kind of fat distribution)

RFM > BMI for estimating body fat Researchers wanted a simple way to estimate body fat without scans. They used ~16,000 NHANES participants with DXA (real body fat measurement), tested 365 formulas built from height, weight, waist and other measures, then kept the simplest ones that best matched real body fat and validated them on a separate group . The best one was RFM (Relative Fat Mass). It estimates your body fat % using only height and waist: Men: 64 − (20 × height/waist) Women: 76 − (20 × height/waist) Height and waist in meters. No body weight needed. RFM is directly a body fat %: ~10–20% (men) / ~20–30% (women) → normal ~25%+ (men) / ~35%+ (women) → obese range Because it comes from testing hundreds of models against real body fat, it tracks fat better than BMI, misses far fewer high body fat cases, and reduces classification errors across men, women, and ethnic groups . Body fat follows waist relative to height more than weight relative to height². PMID: 30030479

@Lucasrsmartinez @toylan20 Great! I am a fan of the minimal effective dose. If you are really happy with things right now it may make sense to get a Testosterone (total, free, shbg) test now, because if (realistically when) your numbers decline you know a good number to shoot for.

@danielobvt @toylan20 Nice, i did tirz 2,5 1-8w and 5 8-12w Then I had too much hunger and lost about 22 lbs. That’s all i needed and i didnt want to go up. It’s hard to maintain the downgrade of dosis to get out of it Now just just working out about 15%bf I’m 35, still no test atm

@TrainaStrong @toylan20 No. My estrodiol sits happily in the 13-15:1 range and I see no negative sides (no spicy nips, etc) and just positives (strong libido). You really shouldn't even look at E blockers until you are past the 2-3 month point, and if you do? Maybe dial the T back first.

If leaning out is the goal, step on the scale daily. Not emotion. Data. Trends beat feelings. Most avoid the scale or cosplay behind “muscle gain.” Either hop on the bus to Fat Camp or get lean. Track it. Adjust it. Stay accountable.

@Sweetbird76 @Froshnfeet @toylan20 I actually am more happy about my health metrics (cholesterol, hs crp, a1c, fasting glucose and insulin) over the weight/look. Because that is what is saving my life. But we humans are visual creatures and going from fluffy to somewhat fit is a good story.

And I have never hid that I used all the legal tools available to take get myself out of a dangerous equilibrium. The tools just set situation, I still had to eat a proper diet and work out a lot to get it.

@Froshnfeet @toylan20 My T was 210, aka hypogonadal and have a prescription from my pcp. That level actually increases the chance of dying. My assignment was to find ways to not die and be with my family functioning as long as I can. I stay around 900.

@TheReal50305775 @toylan20 Yeah. After 4 months I had a hunch and ran the test myself(214). Since then I have been on 200mg/w. I tell every man over 40 I know to run the test yearly and not fear the needle. I have gotten 4 people on TRT since then.

@CoffeeBlackMD I was surprised my IM PA PCP ordered it. But it probably helped on prescribing Mounjaro (not as much as a1c) and even then it took a while to work. Yes I keep my labs in a spreadsheet….
