@lcasdev @kitsonk @rough__sea @nicknisi @undefined_void i actually migrated from neovim to vim a few months ago
English

Tell me you haven't worked with @rough__sea and @nicknisi without telling me haven't worked with them.

Does anyone who actually writes code for a living use neovim

@yagiznizipli ok i am a bit wrong about the event loop part. spiderfire (the underlying library that winterjs is using) does handle event loop integration.
English

@yagiznizipli the source code is such a sad story... it recreates the entire spidermoney runtime from scratch for every http request, including reparsing&reevaluating the user code. there is no integration between js event loop and tokio so the entire request handler is effectively blocking

@NicoloRibaudo can we please stop giving obvious grift from wasmer attention? this isn't even the first time they've tried to namejack an open spec. this isn't even the second time they've tried to namejack an open spec.
English

@kentcdodds you're underestimating the amount of prs people write using the github web editor
English

@devsnek Some times are not real, this is true. Some argue that UT1 isn't a proper measure of time but a measure of angles.
English

@NicoloRibaudo still can't believe we let them back into ecma without giving up the trademark
English

@jonsneyers Thanks for the example this is super helpful. In case you're stressed, I can confirm the original file is not damaged, this is just some of our intermediate servers re-encoding it.
English

@devsnek Nope, doesn't help: media.discordapp.net/attachments/10…
That image is not supposed to look green...
English

Looks like @discord messed up, ruining (even retroactively!) many uploaded images: 1) they strip ICC profiles without color conversion, 2) they do low-quality lossy transcoding (q75 4:2:0 unoptimized libjpeg-turbo?), 3) recompressed images can be bigger than the originals. Ouch!
