@thdxr Do you feel like OpenCode would be near where it is today in this amount of time before AI? I agree that I expected people to move faster than they are, but then I see some stuff like bun migrating to rust in days and I think there's definitely something there 😅

@kentcdodds I can definitely relate to this. I felt like my life/freedom was stolen from me when we had our first. The feeling of loss was profound and I was angry. But the new identity you get as a father is soooo much better than the one you lose. Good riddance to that guy.

@VicVijayakumar I was home schooled in fifth grade and it was transformative for me. My mom is a trained school teacher so she did great. I'm not sure why we stopped home schooling after that one year. I'll ask her!

Homeschooling is not right for every kid, but more importantly it's absolutely not right for every parent. I stayed home for 8th grade and inhaled the 8th and 9th grade coursework. I learned 4 years of French over the summer and spent all my free time playing chess. But I drove my mom insane and she could not wait to send me back to school.
