Added support for rainy weather and dynamic weather transitions today. Transitioning from rain to clear skies now triggers a sequence of smooth, distinct states with different effects #threejs #gamedev #indiedev #devlog

building my own markdown IDE and just added a graph view with note indexing wild how #threejs experience goes way beyond games. same skills, completely different tools sometimes the best features come from skills you didn't expect to reuse

@DysproPulse thanks! i'm making this model to test the editor. while creating it, i take note of what's missing and implement it right away. for example, today i added shape drawing to easily create the wheel above his head. next up for this model is developing the animation editor

for me, building custom tools has always been a form of productive procrastination. i've made my own 3d editors and vfx systems, but realized i was avoiding the actual game. shifting focus from "perfect tooling" to "shipping a product" is hard but necessary.
