@iRobot @jmissig +1 It is currently 2:30 AM and I am out of bd trying to get this freaking roomba to charge because apparently it’s having issues connecting to the base. It’s not working, and won’t stop giving me notifications. Please add a feature to mute this thing wtf.

@iRobot @DanAnthony11 That is not a solution. The moronic device even sometimes can't solidly stick on its base... and then starts crying. At 3 am. Why do these sounds need to be so loud anyway? And for gods sake just add a screw potmeter to allow someone to turn it off.

@DanAnthony11 Hi Dan! We recommend leaving Roomba on the charging base, to prevent any unwanted interruptions in the cleaning process. You may also turn Roomba off by holding down the Clean button until Roomba's lights turn off.

@iRobot @vcaptainamazing @jmissig You did have time to add functionality to turn off the lights in the app, so do a complete job and add functions to turn off the sound. Now I'm forced to remove the speaker...

In the (near) future, you'll be able to develop new products and marketing campaigns based on Synthetic Users. There are two reasons this is awesome news: speed and flexibility is one, and being able to unlock your existing customer data is another. Let…lnkd.in/epADyh9S

@andrewwhite01 This is insane. The current version of your work (which is on GitHub) can produce a novel toxic gas which could be created by a lab. Right now. And you published this?

We report a model that can go from natural language instructions, to robot actions, to synthesized molecule with an LLM. We synthesized catalysts, a novel dye, and insect repellent from 1-2 sentence instructions. This has been a seemingly unreachable goal for years! 1/3

A few weeks back, I promised to share an infographic with you about a prompt framework I've been developing based on the analysis of over 1500 prompts. Prompts are everywhere. And even while there are more and more tools that hide the prompt behind an i…lnkd.in/eZTpKicJ

Prompts. The new popular term of 2023. They're everywhere. And even while there are more and more tools that hide the prompt behind an interface (prompt wrapping) or even go full-auto and build prompts themselves, it's still super valuable to understand w…lnkd.in/gS4AYNer

Besides using LLMs for innovation I use them all day for basically everything. But I always love to read what others use them for and what creative use they come up with! lnkd.in/etnt3jgN

Hello Linkedin, Two weeks ago, I shared my new ebook 'ChatGPT x Ideation' and I'm frankly delighted with the response I got. Many of you love the book which makes me super happy! But also, a lot of you asked me if there was a smaller, cheaper, or even…lnkd.in/ghK6xtWE

A thought: with the coming rise of fine-tuned LLMs for specific purposes, proprietary data, especially data that is text based, unstructured or semi-structured and hard to organize in traditional ways, is the real gold. That's what you'll need to finetune…lnkd.in/euM8Jtqx

See this oldschool screenshot of Dos? Likely, this is how you'll feel about using plain #chatgpt in a year's time... As #llms are integrated in more and more tools, and with additional abilities and better user interfaces, chances are you'll write fewe…lnkd.in/ev2uyfaS

@joshuakelly Again the apples and oranges, i think you're basically being impressed by chatgpt's interface. It is finally delivering on the chatbot promise, but still handcrafted / checked answers are preferable in the code domain imo- or any other domain were errors are really bad

@joshuakelly First of all you compare apples and oranges (a search index with an explanation) and second the explanation by chatgpt in this instance kond of sucks. It is a crazy amount of text that could have been replaced with just one example...

@ShaanVP Arguably, for many their virtual life is already more important that that other one. My question: will the metaverse allow multithreading, i.e. being at multiple places at the same time

Soon, some company will make smart glasses that sit in front of our eyes all day. We will go from 50% attention on screens to ~90%+ That's the moment in time when the metaverse starts. Because at that moment, our virtual life will become more important than our real life.
