Hiii minna~ By the time you're reading this, I'm probably in surgery. I'm actually a little emotional to finally have this problem GONE 🩷 Time and time again, doctors had told me I was wrong and crazy. I tried to manage the pain on my own, but it'd get so bad I'd be in bed and couldn't move out of the fetal position. Nobody took my pain seriously and I started to genuinely think I was insane & somehow making it all up. Last year I ended up in the ER for what I thought was food poisoning. I am so lucky those doctors looked deeper into it, because 15 minutes later I finally found out what was causing my severe pain for over 10 years. And now? I'm having abdominal surgery to hopefully remove the damaged tissue for my advanced case, but also to fix my quality of life permanently. I'll have to relearn to eat what I want again. I can eat steak again, if I want to, or any red meat for that matter. I don't have to worry about eating out and having a bad reaction anymore. I finally have a choice. It's been a very long journey, and maybe my recovery will be a bit longer than usual, but the most important part is that I WILL recover. I can look at a menu and don't have to think about what will put me in excruciating pain afterwards anymore. I can go to the store and pick out anything I want to eat for dinner or lunch. Never again will I have to be in that much severe pain, or balance my days around having episodes where I can't get out of bed. 🌸🩷 THANK YOU 🩷🌸
