It would have not been a genuine a new contract with a salary raise but rather a contract extension, his current deal ends in 2028. However by spring and due to Leao’s recent performances the situation cooled down a lot. As of today everything stalled. Should an interesting offer arrive for Leao this summer Milan could sell him.
