@SportsPixNation Drafting early has nothing to do with being better at scouting players. Good players are going to rise to the top regardless of when you draft them. But if a late “gem” emerges because a guy gets hurt in camp, you’re not the smartest guy in the room … you’re lucky.

@Michael_Fabiano I would argue that the person that needs more help scouting and understanding talent would have to draft rookies before the season starts rather than now or through the early summer.

@Michael_Fabiano Where you win is in the deep rounds with the dart throws this time of year. Drafting now allows the more seasoned and savvy dynasty player to take advantage of scouting and grabbing diamonds in the rough in later rounds.
