Have you ever wanted to play phone games on your PC without the emulator stress. Well look no further. Velo v0.1.0 is coming. Velo mirrors your phone to your PC, and map your keyboard and mouse keys to where you want it to touch. Coming soon♥️ @Smart_crYpT1 @tomiwa_xi

@firekid_dev Yeah, closer to the source-cleaning side than just raw selector patching. Still evolving, but the goal is to keep downstream workflows from having to care every time the source shifts. DM me

what's the worst anti-bot measure you've encountered while scraping? cloudflare got smart in 2026 they check canvas fingerprints, webgl rendering, audio context, font lists built @firekid/scraper to spoof all of them + auto-rotate fingerprints what's broken your scrapers recently

@uspih_eth Makes sense, keeping the maintenance burden on one central service instead of every workflow. My self-healing selectors (7 fallback strategies) try to solve it at the scraper level. Curious do you abstract selectors too? cleaning after the source changes? Happy to compare notes

Mostly on-demand. For social data we maintain the endpoint layer ourselves, so when sources drift the burden stays on us, not every builder downstream. That’s the main point for us: move scraper maintenance out of each workflow and into one maintained service. Happy to share setup if useful 🤝

Ghost cursor ports for Playwright exist (Bezier curves + natural timing). Full @firekid/scraper setup with jitter/human profiles + self-healing selectors here: github.com/Firekid-is-him…

Yeah behavioral is the silent killer, fingerprint rotation gets past initial checks but robotic mouse/scroll tanks score over time. Added profiles in @firekid/scraper w/ jitter & delays. Anyone using ghost-cursor libs or similar for human pointer events? Drop recs👇

@uspih_eth yeah the maintenance spiral is brutal that's why I built the self-healing selectors into it, when a site changes structure, it tries 7 different fallback strategies before failing curious how Surf handles site changes? you pre-scrape and maintain the data or handle it on-demand?

For us the bigger issue is the maintenance spiral. You get past one layer, then spend the next week keeping the scraper alive. That’s part of why we started building Surf for some workflows it’s better to pay for the data you need than keep owning the whole scraping mess yourself.

@JafarNajafov Crawlee + Playwright is beast for evasion defaults, But behavioral stacking still ghosts long runs. Layer ghost-cursor for mouse curves + my @firekid/scraper (jitter/human profiles) to go further. War stories thread 👇

🚨 BREAKING: There's a Python library that makes your web crawlers basically invisible to every modern bot detection system. It's called Crawlee. Built by Apify. And it treats anti-bot evasion as a default, not a feature you bolt on. What it does: → Scrapes any website with BeautifulSoup, Playwright, or raw HTTP your choice → Auto-rotates proxies and manages sessions so you never get blocked → Handles JS-heavy sites with full headless browser support → Parallel crawling that scales automatically with your system resources → Saves data to persistent storage no lost progress if something crashes → Retries failed requests automatically without you touching anything One pip install. Works on any site. Any format. HTML, PDF, JPG, PNG all of it. 8.1K stars. 100% Opensource. Apache 2.0 License. (Link in the comments)

@GithubProjects Exactly, native C++ patches beat runtime JS hacks for fingerprints, but behavioral (mouse/scroll) is the next layer. @firekid/scraper profiles + jitter help there. Who's tested CloakBrowser + pointer emulation combo?👇

@GithubProjects CloakBrowser stealth in C++ is clean for Playwright users! This + ghostcursor libs for human mouse/pointer emulation would crush behavioral detectors (DataDome style).I added jitter + fast/normal/human profiles in @firekid/scraper for exactly this. More war stories in my thread

Stealth browser automation just got interesting. CloakBrowser is a custom Chromium build designed to look like a real browser to anti-bot systems. No JS hacks, no config tricks. Fingerprints patched directly in the C++ source. Drop-in replacement for Playwright/Puppeteer. Python or JS. 3 lines of code.

@ApplyWiseAi stealth mode helps but cloudflare got smarter now they check canvas fingerprints, webgl rendering, and so on @firekid/scraper spoofs all of them + auto-rotates so you don't trip their ML models what broke your stealth setup? always looking to patch new vectors

just shipped my Scraper Engine @firekid/scraper - web scraping framework that actually bypasses Cloudflare built it because I was tired of scrapers dying on the first captcha what's the weirdest site you've ever tried to scrape? (asking because I'm collecting war stories for v2)

I made Vercel persistent. No, it's not a hack. No, it's not expensive. Day 1 of building Botlink, deploy Discord bots to Vercel like it was always possible. What do you guys think of the name Botlink?
