@Quest4Great @RobSchneider Think about Teddy's definition and ask yourself, how many non-Americans do you see today?
English

@RobSchneider "We have room for but one loyalty, and that is loyalty to the American people... We can have no 'fifty-fifty' allegiance in this country. Either a man is an American and nothing else, or he is not an American at all." - Teddy Roosevelt

@ellamaulding Not is now investigating...has been investigating.
The investigation started BEFORE the resignation. That is pretty relevant context.

@AAGDhillon AI will have disintegrated this field in 10 years or less.

@RepSwalwell Is that legislation to have games not come to California?
English

The World Cup is our chance to showcase our best. I introduced legislation so we can focus on welcoming people from around the world—not scaring them away.

@DanCrenshawTX I think you are supposed to be standing in the MTG line.

Tucker likes to have friendly conversations with bad people. When he realizes that he’s talking to Iranian intelligence officials that we already collect on, he pretends to be a victim of “spying.” He’s an idiot, and he thinks you’re an idiot too.
You always need a warrant to “wire tap” any American citizen. Full stop.
But if you’re communicating with a criminal and that criminal’s phone is tapped (because a judge authorized it), then your conversation is now part of that investigation. If the police also want to tap *your* phone, they would need a warrant.
FISA is no different.
Tucker knows all this but his favorite grift is to play the victim. I’m surprised he hasn’t blamed the Jews yet. Give it time.

@LeilaHormozi One post that isn't 100% derivative from someone else in the space. That's all I ask.
English

@RepNancyMace Confirming only your constant need for attention.
Thank you for being America's ever-present aunt.
English

@RuleofLawMaxi @DarrigoMelanie Nothing is too expensive when all you do is deficit spend.
English

@DarrigoMelanie They claim healthcare is too expensive while spending billions a day on an unprovoked war.

@GovTimWalz Auto theft is up 35% in Minnesota this year.
Just neighbors borrowing cars from neighbors I bet.
English

The Trump Administration attempted to make an example of Minnesota during Operation Metro Surge.
Instead, Minnesotans set an example for the rest of the country that decency and compassion will always triumph over fear and division.

@Ilhan A staggering majority of Americans want this.
You disenfranchise them when you don't represent them the way they want to be represented.
You also disenfranchise them when you let billions in hard earned tax dollars become fraudulently allocated.
English

Indeed. Here is his argument put in an anecdote.
Imagine you were a child, and some lunatic came in and murdered your whole family.
The social workers come and ask you where you want to live.
Are you going to ask to stay with the murderer?
Even the people accepting TPS aren't buying what he is selling.
English

It's wild to me the level of entitlement the world feels toward the American taxpayer
The US gives medical aid to Zambia, but because they want something in return finally, it makes them the "bad guy"?
Alan MacLeod@AlanRMacLeod
The US - and I cannot stress this enough - is the bad guy in virtually every situation. No empire in world history has ever held this much power.
English

@HarmeetKDhillon These liberal states and institutions have been captured.

@EmmanuelMacron This is why he posted this:
INSEE (France's national statistics institute) data from a 2019–2020 survey (referenced in later analyses up to 2023) found that Muslims comprised 10% of the population aged 18–59.
English

It is time to open a path towards de-escalation in order to restore stability in the Middle East.
France calls for the immediate implementation of a moratorium on strikes targeting civilian infrastructure, whether related to water or to energy. Freedom and security of navigation must be restored.
As the region enters a period of religious celebrations and renewal, tempers must cool and hostilities must cease, in order to give a real chance to the prospect of a negotiated and sustainable solution.
English

@dbongino Legit question. Not rage bait, not pushing a narrative.
How is his resignation any different from yours?
On the surface, he seems to have disagreed with the direction the administration was going as it pertains to his department.
Was that not the same as you?
English

@cenkuygur @TuckerCarlson The jury is still out for us on the Joe Kent thing.
That said, are we really going to act like we haven't seen someone resign to avoid prosecution or be viewed sympathetically?
English

Joe Kent conveniently under investigation now. @TuckerCarlson potentially under investigation. We've moved on from the propaganda portion of our programming to outright oppression. National media will pretend it's a total coincidence that opponents of the war are being targeted.
English

Well, that is a conveniently structured narrative. Too bad it is steeped in ignorance.
We only celebrate truth.
TPS has been extended to all varieties of people. Nepal, did we miss the major military action in Nepal?
Montserrat, yes, I recall the great Montserrat bombing raids of 2002.
Remember all the tomahawks we fired into Liberia?
Remember when we dropped an A-Bomb on and Guinea-Bissau?
The list goes on and on. Perhaps you could come with something more than the regurgitated talking points of an intellectually captured rube.
English

Have you asked yourself why they became refugees? I’ll tell you. They became refugees because US bombed their homes and destroyed their schools and made their home areas unliveable. I have a suggestion. Maybe don’t bomb them and then they won’t have reason to leave their homes. The lack of self awareness is jarring. When you’re celebrating the wanton and illegal destruction of other countries just know that those people will later come to your shores to ask for help

$200 billion would pay for free college for every American, $10 day childcare, 1000 new trade schools, the 40% federal share of special needs education and a lot more.
