Tucker likes to have friendly conversations with bad people. When he realizes that he’s talking to Iranian intelligence officials that we already collect on, he pretends to be a victim of “spying.” He’s an idiot, and he thinks you’re an idiot too.
You always need a warrant to “wire tap” any American citizen. Full stop.
But if you’re communicating with a criminal and that criminal’s phone is tapped (because a judge authorized it), then your conversation is now part of that investigation. If the police also want to tap *your* phone, they would need a warrant.
FISA is no different.
Tucker knows all this but his favorite grift is to play the victim. I’m surprised he hasn’t blamed the Jews yet. Give it time.

Two years ago, Congress almost left the county with a huge intelligence gap for no good reason. Lives would have been lost had we not reauthorozed FISA. The violent cartel leader “El Mencho” would still be alive if we had not reauthorized FISA and passed my provision to target cartel affiliates for collection.
You’d be amazed by how many Republicans voted to PROTECT cartels from intelligence collection. Exactly 83 Republicans voted against my bill to add cartels to FISA collection.
Many Members of Congress and media figures get the facts completely wrong about FISA. They say they’re “guardians of civil liberty.” They say their position is “common sense,” that “if you want to spy on Americans just get a warrant.”
That all sounds good. I would agree with their position *if it were true.*
But it’s not true. I go into the 3 big myths about FISA with Director Kash Patel. Listen to our exchange.
President Trump is showing incredible leadership by pushing for reauthorization next week. American lives depend on this, even if online trolls believe otherwise.
We will need Republican votes because too many Democrats have now decided that TDS is more important than national security, despite the fact that they supported this two years ago. Never trust a party that can change their principles purely because orange man bad.

Joined @FaceTheNation over the weekend to talk about what’s going on in the Middle East, the election result, and more. Here are the highlights.

We can follow the path of realism and stability—championed by leaders like @POTUS Trump, @SecRubio, @MichaelJKnowles, and myself—or we can follow the path of slogan spewing fools who think America exists in a bubble detached from the realities of the world. Too many people are turning against the President because they are scared of the idea of using strength to enable a long term peace.
I know which one I’m sticking with.

.@DanCrenshawTX likens the attack on Iran to other recent military operations carried out by President Trump:
"You need deterrence...if you f*** with us, we're going to come in and capture your guy."

.@DanCrenshawTX says striking Iran was inevitable and rejects the claim that Israel dragged us into the conflict:
"Some people say, 'Well, we let the Israelis drag us into the war.' No one drags us into war. We're the f*cking United States, like we don't get dragged in."

There’s a debate over the legality of the actions against Iran but the law is clear. While it appears intense, this is in fact a limited action, not an occupation, and not an open-ended war. The law is clear, and the President is operating within it.
Good operational strategy is also clear: don’t show hesitation mid-swing. What we absolutely cannot have right now are political roadblocks that weaken our position mid-operation. When American troops are in harm’s way, the last thing we should do is signal hesitation or division to our adversaries.

It’s the knock in the door that no family wants.
Sadly, we’ve lost four American service members during Operation Epic Fury (one was lost since this interview was recorded). Four more have been seriously wounded. Several others are recovering from shrapnel injuries and concussions.
We pray for the fallen. We pray for the wounded. And we pray for the families who are now living every military family’s worst fear.
Their sacrifices were not for nothing. This cause is just and in the defense of our national security. Never Forget.

"Earlier today, CENTCOM shared the news that three U.S. military service members have been killed in action. As one nation, we grieve for the true American patriots, who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation... We send our immense love & eternal gratitude to the families of the fallen." - President Donald J. Trump

Praying for the victims and their families after the horrific shooting in Austin. Great work by the Austin Police for stopping the threat quickly.
Yes, this was possibly a terrorist attack. We don’t know just yet, but it is increasingly more likely than not.
Years of open borders and allowing immigrants from countries where we were not always able to fully vet them created the potential for Iranian and Islamists sleeper cells.
Stay on high alert, and remember: You have the right to defend yourself here in Texas.
