BREAKING: A federal judge drops a bomb on MAGA and PERMANENTLY bans several public schools from obeying an Arkansas law that requires the Ten Commandments be displayed in classrooms. The separation of church and state isn't dead yet... “Act 573’s purpose is only to display a sacred, religious text in a prominent place in every public-school classroom. And the only reason to display a sacred, religious text in every classroom is to proselytize to children. The State has said the quiet part out loud,” wrote U.S. District Judge Timothy Brooks. The judge wrote that state lawmakers "may have lost sight of the fact that 'a union of government and religion tends to destroy government and to degrade religion.'" "The law serves no educational purpose, as the State admits, and consequently deprives Plaintiffs of their rights," he added. He ruled that the law blatantly violates the Establishment Clause and violates the religious freedom rights of the plaintiffs, a group of multifaith families with children enrolled in Arkansas schools. Brooks' decision will effect several school districts but does not amount to a statewide ban on the law. “Today’s decision ensures that our clients’ classrooms will remain spaces where all students, regardless of their faith, feel welcomed and can learn without worrying that they do not live up to the state’s preferred religious beliefs,” said Heather Weaver of the ACLU’s Program on Freedom of Religion and Belief, one of the organizations representing the plaintiffs. This is a massive defeat for the Christian Nationalists who foisted Trump into the White House. They want to force their fake brand of Christianity — stripped of any of the compassion or love that Jesus recognize — down all of our throats. If the federal government won't pursue justice, it falls to the states to do so. Best of all, if Krasner does start pulling on these investigatory threads, there's no telling what might unravel. ICE blocked and then rammed into community volunteer's car—the 3rd time they've crashed into same man. Agents broke his window and dragged him out over broken glass—sending him to hospital. Another agent jumped out pointing assault rifle—causing other witness to run in fear. His lawyer tried to visit him in the hospital—but unidentified masked men "physically removed" him from the emergency room. 🚨BREAKING: DHS agents are now illegally arresting U.S. citizens at airports… and trafficking them across state lines. A 28-year-old U.S. citizen, Sunny Naqvi, was detained by DHS, for 43 hours, after landing at O’Hare International Airport in Chicago. She wasn’t charged with a crime, and she wasn’t accused of doing anything illegal… Agents reportedly detained her over what they called a “curious travel history.” Even though Sunny was born in Illinois…they still disappeared her. After being held for about 30 hours inside the airport, agents secretly moved Sunny to an ICE detention facility in Broadview, Illinois. While this was happening, federal agents repeatedly told her family she was NOT in custody, even though her phone location showed she was inside the facility. Then it gets worse. According to witnesses, agents asked for Sunny’s phone number so they could “look for her phone.” Minutes later, the phone was opened, her messages were read, and the device was shut off, cutting off the family’s ability to track her. After that, agents transported the U.S. citizen across state lines, to another detention facility in Dodge County, Wisconsin. And then she was eventually released early Saturday morning… in a random state, alone. Her phone was dead, and she had no transportation. So, a U.S. citizen detained by the federal government had to hitchhike to a hotel, just to be able to reunite with her family. And this is what people need to understand… When federal agents can detain U.S. citizens without charges… lie to families about their custody, search personal phones, and secretly transport people across state lines… That puts every single American in danger. Because they can do it to anyone.

It takes breathtaking ignorance to serve in Congress and still not understand that religious freedom applies to everyone. It’s a disgrace that House Republicans continue to elevate and defend this kind of open bigotry.

It took Trump 10 days to create an energy crisis reminiscent of the 1970s, replace Ayatollah Khamenei with Ayatollah Khamenei, and weaken our alliances worldwide. He put American servicemembers in harm’s way, resulting in seven deaths. None of this made you safer or better off.
