We try and encourage everyone to work on a small self-contained feature that can be finished in a single day
I think it's good to do this at least once a week even on a long-running established product like ours, otherwise you feel like you're losing momentum ๐โโ๏ธ
The result is that you have a nice story to tell of the day to the rest of the group โ

Today is our weekly meeting of founders in Bangkok who ship! ๐ We meet at 10:30 and have a quick standup to talk about what we're working on today ๐๏ธ Then we have 5-6 hours of focused work (with a break for lunch together ๐) At 5:30 we demo our work to each other, then we go out for spicy thai food and drinks! ๐ถ๏ธ We even have two visitors from other chapters today! - one is from Hackaditch (Shoreditch, London) - the other from Hackagu (Canggu, Bali) Let's get hacking!
