@Footballtweet Then you really didn’t watch him much then did you. Yes he passed more than dribbled but he demonstrated on many occasions he was good with the ball at his feet. He just didn’t have pace.

@Ls11_Lowfields @FA_PGMOL I’ve never seen a fan base bitch and moan so much about getting to Wembley. Jeez, just enjoy the win.

The VAR/ ref decisions against Leeds in the West Ham game defy logic.
1. 3 high kicks to the head by WHU players went unpunished.
2. Blatant penalty against Stach. Unintentional contact or Stack got his shot away is bollox.
3. Dangerous high kick scores goal.

Respectfully I see it differently. If it had been 3 minutes injury time then fine but 6 or 7 minutes any team would have had a go. And considering we scored our first at 92 minutes, the players would have still had a go to equalize.
If we are re-refereeing the game then you should have also had a player sent off at 1-0.
Anyway all of this is irrelevant. You won, it was a great game and congratulations!
English

@halfleftright Of course it did. 11 minutes allowed West Ham to believe they could score twice. Had it been 6 minutes they wouldn’t have believed. The fact that they scored two in 6 mins is irrelevant.
English

11 minutes was what gave West Ham the impetus to go for it.
Should have been 6 or 7 mins and the game was done.
Anyone know where 11 mins came from?

Dangerous tackle in the box with zero attempt made on the ball. On what planet is that not a penalty? It doesn’t matter that it came after the shot.
Just another case this season of VAR screwing over Leeds United this season. Utterly pointless system. #LUFC

Yes he was wiped out after the shot. Stach back on his feet. Hobbling. VAR evidently deciding we're okay to go with just a corner. 0-1 #lufc

@L33dsFan @Jamiedixon120 @TheAthleticFC Err your player that should have been sent off for a pretty awful challenge.
English

@Jamiedixon120 @TheAthleticFC Interested to know which decisions you feel should have been given for you tbh

@TheCinesthetic Physicist here.
No matter how strong Superman's breathing is, he can't exhale more air than what fits in his lungs.
So, a few long breaths wouldn't be enough to slow Lois down. Clark would need many strong short breaths, acting like a pump to redirect air upwards from the side.

@TechLayoffLover Oracle are 140 billion in debt due to AI infrastructure investments. Ie. Building datacentres. They are sacking workers because they need to save money not because ai is replacing them.
English

**ORACLE IS ABOUT TO MASSACRE 30,000 WORKERS WHILE LARRY ELLISON SITS ON $201 BILLION**
The company just posted a 95% jump in net income to $6.13 billion
Record fucking quarter
And they're planning the largest layoff in Oracle's 47-year history
Sources saying 18% of the entire global workforce is getting torched
That's 30,000 human beings with mortgages and kids and car payments
While Larry Ellison was literally the richest person on Earth for three weeks last September
$393 billion net worth at the peak
The man could lose $201 billion tomorrow and still have more money than 99.9% of humans will see in 1,000 lifetimes
Oracle's "workforce optimization" (their actual words) comes down to one simple equation:
$6.13 billion in quarterly profit ÷ 30,000 eliminated salaries = even more billions for shareholders
The press release will say they're "streamlining operations to focus on cloud and AI capabilities"
Translation: we're firing 30,000 people because we can replace them with software and nobody can stop us
I'm hearing the cuts hit hardest in support, consulting, and mid-level engineering
The exact people who built this company while Larry collected yachts
If you're at Oracle right now, your badge might not work Monday morning
English

People here are clueless as to why Oracle are firing people. It’s not because their job has been replaced by AI. It’s because Oracle has debts of 140 billion because of their AI infrastructure investments. And there is no indication as to when that investment will turn into profit. They cut jobs so they can continue to pay the bills in the future in the hope that the AI investment pays off.
English

This is genuinely frustrating, i’m sure Arteta is shaking wherever he is right now. Your entire starting XI being out injury all at once is insane. Has any club ever had this kind of luck?

Wolves & Everton are tough games. Can’t see us beating palace, brentford, arsenal or Newcastle. And then yes I think we can beat leads. Only chance of us not going down is if spurs stay shite. Forest will get 40+ points.
So while we have a chance, there is no doubt we are probably favorites to go down.

It’s worrying but still plenty of time to go. We win our next one. Leeds and forest lose or draw and it’s back to being anyone going down.
My concern is how poorly we played. Losing but making a game of it would be ok. But let’s be honest we could have lost that game 5-0 and it wouldn’t have looked out of the norm.
