Idea - CAD that only supports operations you can perform with a tool. Want to do an extrude cut? Pick an end mill first.

@anonymous_clap I guess, but It’s more that with the PCBway review process, they would have mentioned that and not let you order it. Waiting a week+ for JLC to correct an error on their end is a project killer, far outweighing free fixes. Maybe jlc has improved their review process?

@idlehandsdev I use JLCPCB exclusively and have never had an issue. They have a great customer service and will remake them if the mistake was on their side. I don’t think we know enough about how he set up the order to know who’s at fault.

You should populate one of the corner boards to see if it works as expected anyway, then fix any mistakes and order it properly next time. Plus I don’t think that would have happened if you used PCBway and their manual review process. They catch everything

The absolute worst thing possible happened. I ordered the boards with a v-score so I could snap them apart into 9 separate boards, they did not come with it. I don’t even know where to go from here, so incredibly bummed. I guess I will have to order some more boards.

@deBeauxOs1 Don’t get gaslit. I pay more taxes than anyone. Almost all taxes come from top 1% earners. We pay for all the stuff you like and that’s fine. Government workers are the ones who don’t pay their fair share (they are your employees). Ask more of them.

@idlehandsdev I paid 54% in taxes this year and I still can't afford a house. It's just because all my stocks vested at once and Canada doesn't give you a rebate for grant year like in the US.

If you take a picture of a Raspberry Pi 2 with a strong flash it will reboot. A specific power regulator (U16) was chip-scale packaged to save on cost and die space. Since the silicon is basically naked, a xeon flash can cause a massive (but very short) current spike.

Hot take, you need a very specific type of property or driveway to use a robotic snow blower. Most people aren’t able to wildly throw snow in every direct and need to carefully plan it out to avoid covering their Neighbours and the road.
That being said, I want one.

Autonomous Snow Blower Update: The @yarboglobal completed the first pass of the driveway and went back to the charging dock. After about 1.25hrs, it will be 80% charged and will automatically return and continue to clear the driveway. I plan to run it during the entirety of the storm and will post my review video on @stateofcharge this week. So far, it's kicking A$$!
