A hospital in Lagos was holding a woman hostage. Not with guns. With a bill she couldn't pay. She had received treatment. She was well enough to leave. But the hospital wouldn't discharge her until someone settled the balance. So she stayed — trapped in a ward, away from her family, unable to work. This happens every single day in Nigeria. In a country where 97% of the population has no health insurance, a hospital visit can become a prison sentence. The Aproko Doctor Foundation exists because we refused to accept that. Through community-led financing — thousands of everyday Nigerians contributing small amounts monthly — we've built something that looks a lot like insurance, except it belongs to the people: • ₦50M+ paid to hospitals. 100+ patients freed. • 1,500 women screened for cancer in one Abuja weekend — 500 more than planned. • 150 women caught cervical cancer early. Alive today because of a free screening. • Solar power installed in hospital NICUs so incubators don't go dark. • ₦3.1M raised in 4 hours — one tweet, one community, one woman's prosthetic leg. The community is the insurance. We're not waiting for the system to fix itself. We're proving that when people pool their resources — even ₦500 at a time — they can do what budgets and bureaucracies haven't. If you believe healthcare should involve everybody, join us. Nobody should go broke because of healthcare. #AprokoDoctorFoundation #CommunityLedFinancing #HealthcareInNigeria #The100KClub #PublicHealth #Africa

LIES YOU SHOULD NOT TELL YOURSELF 1. WHAT IS MINE WILL ALWAYS FIND ME: Who told you that? Abeg get up and go get it...Fortune favours the Brave! 2. THIS IS WHO I AM, I CANNOT CHANGE: No Sir/Ma, Times are changing , your adaptability to changing Seasons will always put you ahead of others. Did you hear a Wise man when he said- Madness is doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result. 3. I DON’T NEED ANYONE, I CAN MAKE IT ON MY OWN: No matter how disappointed you are with people, you must need someone at some point to help you navigate through life’s hurdles. God Ordained Relationships are answered Prayers. 4. MY CHARACTER DOES NOT MATTER, I CAN MAKE IT REGARDLESS: Some habits are blessing blockers. Be Careful! 5. I AM TIRED MEANS I SHOULD GIVE UP: This Week, you might get exhausted mentally, physically etc. issues might stress and attempt to drain you. It’s okay to be tired....REST and hit the road again...NO GIVE UP MENTALITY here! 6. I AM WHAT I DO : Overtime , you probably may have disappointed yourself with your actions but always remember- YOU ARE NOT WHAT YOU DO. Your Identity is who God says You are not what you’ve done. 7. I STILL HAVE TIME: You’ve got no time to waste time. Every time you are lazy, someone is working real hard. Every new day brings you closer to your next birthday- I don’t think you have as much time as you say you have. FACE YOUR FRONT. BE ALL IN with your Purpose and MIND YOUR BUSINESS!!! Hope this made a little sense...

I wish every woman & man would see this and share it please. If you are a woman of child bearing age and you wish to get pregnant in future. start taking Folic acid tablets everyday. Folic acid is necessary in development of Brain & spinal cord of babies. Don't wait till you get Pregnant. Start today. Tell a sis A 3 month supply can cost around 500- 1000 naira. Fairly affordable. Babies born to mothers with low Folic acid can have brain problems, malformed brains, spinal cord problems (see pic) even born without a brain...(Neural tube defects) Except told otherwise by your Doctor. Folic acid is cheap and a lifesaver. Tell a Woman.

I told her for what exactly - she said I've been a very nice neighbour. Dey Hear Gist oh. That all along I've been helping her pick up her parcels ( I'm always home) and keeping it safe without even complaining. That it's such a rare attitude to find around.. And she's been thinking of how and what to appreciate me with - she then asked her colleagues at work and they said since he's a black guy, He'd definitely appreciate a drink (alcohol) and a diffuser ( black guys like scents alot) I was just speechless.. 😀 Bro! This is my first time getting such a gift in the UK 🇬🇧 from a Brit. The most you'll get is a box of chocolate, sweets or cakes. How onna see this matter? How do I now return this favour? I'm confused 🤔. Help a brother.. 😊🙏

SAD BUT TRUE 😢 WHAT A WRITE UP! Akara and Pap was breakfast served every morning in a hostel of 100 people. Out of the 100, 80 didn’t like it. They complained daily, saying they were tired and wanted something different. But the remaining 20 were satisfied. They liked it just as it was. To solve the issue, the warden introduced a simple rule: Every night, everyone would vote for what they wanted to eat the next morning. The meal with the highest number of votes would be served. So every night, the 20 who loved Akara and Pap voted for it—with one voice. But the 80 who didn’t like it were never united. Their votes went in different directions: 18 for Bread and Tea 16 for Yam and Egg Sauce 14 for Jollof Rice 12 for Spaghetti 10 for Indomie 10 for Moi Moi and Pap Can u guess what the result was every single time? Akara and Pap kept winning, Not because it was the best, but because the people who didn’t want it were too divided to agree on anything else. In Nigeria, many are tired of the same old hardship, bad governance and recycled leadership. We know who and what the real problems are. But even those who want change are divided—along tribal lines, party names, personal interest, ego, ambition etc. 2027 might seem far away, but it's already around the corner. If we don’t learn from this story, we will wake up again to another bitter round of the same “meal” we’ve been served for ages. This Is a Salient Message THERE'S POWER IN UNITY, NOT JUST IN NUMBERS. A United Minority Is More Formidable Than A Divided Majority. FOOD FOR THOUGHT © Unknown Author

Tope A teacher & A Farmer I Will Never Give Up 💪)
According to the mother: This happened today at around 4:00am. My son woke up saying his chest was hurting and that he needed to see a doctor. Normally I try to avoid rushing to the hospital because I know how he can be, but this time I decided to take him anyway. On the way there he actually fell asleep, and for a moment I even thought of turning back. But something told me to keep going, so I drove straight to casualty at Groote Schuur Hospital. Nothing could have prepared me for what I was about to witness in the next two hours. About two hours later, a woman came rushing into casualty screaming in a way that cuts straight through your heart. She was carrying her little daughter, who looked about 7 or 8 years old. The pain in that mother’s cry was something I will never forget. Doctors rushed to help, and after a few minutes they came back and told the mother that her daughter was gone. The mother let out the most heartbreaking scream. Everyone in that casualty fell silent. But then something incredible happened. Instead of collapsing, the mother suddenly started praying loudly. “Lord remember me! Lord remember me! It’s me your servant. I have served you faithfully. You are not a man that you should lie!” At that moment I found myself sitting there crying, and I didn’t even realise when I started praying with her. She began praying in tongues, and I joined in. About an hour and a half later, the doctors came back again. The mother saw them and immediately asked, “Is she alive?” And the doctor said something I will never forget: “Yes… we’re preparing a bed for her in ICU.” The entire room froze. The mother screamed again, but this time it was different. She started thanking God, shouting “Jesus, you are faithful!” What amazed me even more is that she didn’t run to go see her daughter immediately. She stayed there for another hour, still praying and thanking God. All I can say is this: I recommend Jesus. I truly do. Because today, with my own eyes, I witnessed something that felt like a miracle — the power of prayer. There’s probably only a 1% chance that woman will ever read this, but if she does, I want her to know that she changed my life today. I will never forget this day. #Copied

Osun State people, let's talk straight! Governor Adeleke is woeful! 😡 Ghost workers eating ₦13.7B every year under his watch (and he dey deny cover-up). Substandard roads everywhere despite huge FAAC inflows rain go wash am comot. Travel & dance plenty, but agriculture, health, education? Zero serious funding. Nepotism as Osun State Has Become Another Business Firm of the Adeleke Dynasty, high school fees, gratuity arrears piling up. This na proxy government? Osun no deserve this level of mediocrity. That's why Osun State need Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO) as our next governor. Tested Finance Commissioner: Turned things around, increased IGR, removed civil service only tag. Banker turned MD NIWA, Revived failing agencies with real reforms. Devouted leader with integrity, tolerance, and vision supports the Youths, scholars, community. PhD candidate, Fellow of Chartered Institute of Bankers knowledge + action. No more unnecessary entertainment. Time for economic discipline, jobs, investment, and real progress. Osun State needs @OyebamijiBola ✌️
ASCHOR BABALOLA@EkitiOracle

Osun people, enough is enough! For four years, you have been witnessing a clown turning Government House into a comedy stage. While Adeleke dances at every event, Osun State money is disappearing into the accounts of ghost workers. N13.7 BILLION has gone to people who don’t exist! The teachers, nurses, and civil servants are suffering, but these ghost workers collect salaries every month. Who is doing this to Osun people? That same clown is siphoning Osun taxpayers’ money like it’s his personal ATM. Ghost workers, inflated contracts, and abandoned projects are everywhere. Osun state children are reading under leaking roofs, farmers are not getting support, and Osun youths are running to Lagos every day. Is this governance or stand-up comedy? But Osun, light is coming! In 2026, you should chase that clown out with laughter. You should vote for real men who understand your pain. Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO) and Aare Engr. Kayode Benjamin are coming to rescue Osun with federal government collaboration. Who is AMBO? He’s not a politician who just talks; he’s a true technocrat, banker, former Commissioner for Finance (twice!), former MD of Osun Investment Company, and ex-MD of National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA). While others are busy dancing, AMBO is working diligently. He ensured timely payment of salaries while in charge and never owed workers. He doesn’t create ghost workers; he actively eliminates them! AMBO is our own. He grew up here, was educated here, served here, and is currently pursuing his PhD at our own university, Osun State University (OAU). He genuinely understands our pain. When your mother is hospitalized without medication, AMBO will remember. When your children can’t afford school fees, AMBO will remember. When ghost workers are stealing your taxes, AMBO will relentlessly pursue them out of your lives like rats! This man has a deep sense of compassion for Osun people. And his deputy? Aare Engr. Kayode Benjamin, a real engineer, telecoms expert, and son of Ile-Ife. Together, they will fix our roads, create genuine jobs, attract investors, and put an end to the looting. No more comedy; no more ghost workers. Only real work! Osun, this is personal. Your future, your children’s future, your salary, and your dignity are all at stake. Let’s chase the clown back to the stage where he belongs. Vote Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO) + Aare Engr. Kayode Benjamin. #AMBO2026 #RescueOsun #GhostWorkersMustGo #OsunDeservesBetter Osun, are you ready? If you’re tired of the comedy show, drop “AMBO” in the comments! Let’s trend this until 2026! 💪🏾 #AMBO4Osun #Ambo4Governor #BolaOyebamiji #KayodeBenjamin Oyebamiji. Vs. Ade-dancer
