I had the honour as Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in the United Kingdom to attend the State Dinner offered by HM King Carlos Ill in honour of SE Bola Tinubu President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on the occasion of his official visit to the United Kingdom.

At Bristol Zoo Project this week, The Duke of Edinburgh joined conservationists and volunteers to celebrate the launch of the new ‘African Forest’ habitat. 🦓 🦒 The zoo is home to some of the world’s most threatened species, providing a vital space for conservation and education. Animals include Critically Endangered western lowland gorillas, grey parrots, and extremely threatened species of West African freshwater fish.   🦍 As Patron of Bristol Zoological Society, The Duke went behind the scenes to learn more about the dedicated care provided to these vulnerable animals – and helped prepare lunch for the gorillas!

🏞️ The King Charles III England Coast Path was officially launched by His Majesty the King yesterday during an event held at Seven Sisters in East Sussex.   From GOV UK: “In total 1,000 miles of new path has been created and 1,700 miles improved around the country, allowing people to walk the beautiful headlands, cliffs, beaches, and dunes that make up the English coast. New signage and infrastructure such as bridges and boardwalks have been installed, helping to make the path accessible to all, regardless of age or mobility.    All new and existing paths are now of National Trail standard and will help to attract more income from tourism for coastal communities as people come to visit the path. His Majesty was accompanied on the walk by the Chair of Natural England, Tony Juniper and the Environment Secretary, Emma Reynolds.” 📸: Natural England ©
