Ascension reminds us that Jesus reigns, and that through the Holy Spirit, his life continues in us. Our world is longing for hope, peace and renewal. As we journey from Ascension to Pentecost, let us pray together for more people to know Jesus Christ - and the fullness of life we find in him.

Over the past two days in Reggio Emilia, I have seen first hand the power of nature and creativity that put human connection at the centre of a child’s world. I have had such a deeply moving and unforgettable time here. Thank you to the people of Reggio Emilia for welcoming me into a culture of care with such warmth and generosity. A great morning with Sir Idris Elba, celebrating 50 years of the National Youth Music Theatre. 🎭 The King popped in to join students, alongside Sir Idris, taking part in improvisation workshops, before watching a performance from @NYMTuk students. The charity offers high quality musical theatre opportunities to young people from all backgrounds. With support from The @KingsTrust, Sir Idris attended the National Youth Music Theatre, aged 18. 🎶

King Charles receives Queen Nga Wai Hono i te Po at Buckingham Palace

At Golders Green today, The King reaffirmed his support for the Jewish community, following a series of antisemitic attacks. During his time at the Jewish Care centre in North-West London, The King spoke to victims of the recent knife attack that took place in the area on 29th April 2026. His Majesty also met community police force, Shomrim, who were involved in responding to the attacks.
