Really #RCN24? Really? Do you think best place to hold a Neurodiverse meeting is at Aspect Bar? A very noisy place with very little facilities to hold a meeting. No microphone. Not enough chairs… That shows the lack of understanding that @thercn have regarding Neurodivetsity. 😡

Fantastic article on the actual origins of the term and concept of neurodiversity (as autistic advocates have been saying saying around 1999, Singer had very little to do with it other than popularise a word which had already appeared in publication the year prior)!

The @UoDNursingSoc had a great turnout at the Community Pantry vote-raiser today - we're aiming to set up Pantries at Derby and Chesterfield campuses for any students who'd benefit from free food, with optional donations if anyone wants to help keep the Pantries going!
