Corporate financier. Long life out of France hasn’t diluted the French accent very much.

My best advice to young people. 👇🏼 Put the phone down. Stop scrolling. Stop the social media. Stop the video games. Pick up a book. Read Aurelius. Read the Iliad. Read Shakespeare. Give yourself a real education. I'm going to say something directly to the young men in the room right now. You're not going on dates. You're not socializing. You're not building real relationships with real people in the real world. I'm trying to be honest with you in a way that someone should have been a long time ago. The algorithm is designed to keep you exactly where you are. Comfortable. Isolated. Scrolling. Consuming. Going nowhere. Real life happens when you put the device down and walk out the door. Go on a date. Have a conversation. Make a friend. Take a risk. Be uncomfortable. Be present. The phone will still be there when you get back.

When this is over, the western part of NATO will never be the same. Spain, England, France and Italy have sold us out, as they too often have a history of doing. Eastern European nations are the heart of NATO. They spend money on defense, know how to fight and love the US. France particularly deserves fault and blame. From supporting China and Russia at the UN to denying Americans overflight rights, they’re doing what they’ve always done - showing weakness, while cutting deals with terrorists. (The reason the US has a Marine Corps and Navy is unlike France, we refused to pay a ransom to the Barbary Pirates. France is always happy to cut a deal.) Wars have unintended consequences as nations show their true colors. NATO will never be the same, and Western European weakness and acquiescence is the cause.

@TheMadridEmpire @BillEdgarTimes This is an ignorant statement. The teams of several African nations (Algeria Senegal Côte d’Ivoire) include star players who were born and learnt their football skills in the Paris suburbs the greatest cradle of world class international football players

In a blatant act of provocation yesterday, Sadiq Khan allowed Christians to perform the Passion of Jesus in Trafalgar Square - a disgraceful show of dominance by a religion from the middle east.

Go fix your own country. Don't tell us how to run ours. I voted for Trump 3X. I think people like you are deranged and are only "into politics" to appear smart. You don't want to be confused for a bumpkin so you have to keep reminding everyone of your degrees and how much they mean. You're the people leading France and the rest of Europe to ruin. You don't think for yourself but rely on the herd to protect you. I have nothing but contempt for people like you. I suspect one or both of your parents was a status-seeker and they put you on a pedestal. Now you have to continually defend your internal view of yourself from perceived threat. Etc.

No that tells me that concluding that because Trump went to Wharton (college not grad school) on his father’s dime he is smart - when in fact he basically cannot, does not read and is evidently a first class ass with street smarts - should bar you from voting and destroying what used to be a pretty good country

The most HORRRIBLE thing about Donald Trump is that he makes Macron sound smart. It's an excruciating nightmare.
