@bdam555 @ariaupdated @PatchMyPC Yes, Scan Source, and Dual-Scan via GPO. This is just a stop-gap on the way to enabling Co-Management, but it's nice to see it working mostly as hoped so far.

@ariaupdated Is there documentation on setting Windows clients to use WUfB via Group Policy but still allow them to receive 3rd party updates (@PatchMyPC specifically) through ConfigMgr? Co-Management isn't currently in play in this instance.

@bdam555 @ariaupdated @PatchMyPC I have deadlines set via GP to allow 8 days for restart, which I saw set properly on the client in Updates & Security, but I think ConfigMgr overrode those since my test machine restarted last night even though the updates didn't come from ConfigMgr. Just a theory I need to test

@bdam555 @ariaupdated @PatchMyPC After going through the August patches things look promising! I have the scan source set to Windows Update for all four categories and PatchMyPC updates come through ConfigMgr when I have Software Updates enabled. I did have to set the dual-scan policy to disabled as well.

@ariaupdated @PatchMyPC Thanks! I had the scan source set, but I just now found that I had to specifically set the "Do not allow update deferral polices to cause scans against Windows Update" to Disabled. Just to clarify then, the scan source for "Other Updates" should be WSUS then to get 3P Patches?

@akolade Yeah, but what about when it was Hollywoods? $1 drink Thursdays. The test-tube shots. Come to think of it, I don’t have any specific memories either but probably because of those cheap drinks.

@jarwidmark @AndrewJNet You fine gentlemen mentioned the CI from 2pintsoftware to detect/remediate local policy corruption during the Q4 MEMCM course, but the link is a 404 now. Have you seen any other good alternatives?

@thurrott My heart has gone into a-fib twice now, and both times the Watch finally notified me once I was at the ER and getting in to see a doctor. Timely.

I'd like Apple to share a few stories where Apple Watch did nothing and the user had major health issues. You know it happens.

Anyone out there using only WSUS for updating Windows client endpoints (not MEMCM)? Would love to get you into a Preview for some upcoming changes that improve feature updates, features on demand & lang packs, and auto corruption repair. #WSUS
