Leila de Lima para hikayatin ang gobyerno na muling sumapi sa Rome Statute ng International Criminal Court (ICC). Sa ilalim ng House Resolution No. 1056, nanawagan ang kongresista kina Pres. Bongbong Marcos at sa Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) na simulan ang proseso para makabalik ang Pilipinas bilang miyembro ng ICC. Layon ni de Lima na mas mapalakas ang commitment ng bansa sa paglaban sa impunity at atrocity crimes, at maitaguyod ang human dignity at rule of law.

The SOGIE Equality Bill was about to be sponsored on the senate floor, but Joel Villanueva referred it to the Committee of Rules. He successfully trapped it in perpetual limbo. Since 2000, it’s been 26 years since the SOGIE Bill was filed.

@kheipea If majority says that they support it, then bakit di pa rin mapasa-pasa... it's either a lot of them are paying lip service but are held back by fear na di sila iboto ng mga social conservatives, or yung House of Reps ang may problema in terms of passing the SOGIE bill...

TBT: 10 years ago during the debates of the Presidential and VP candidates. Unanimous disapproval, except for Du30's neutral stance. Poe disapproved on the basis of existing laws, but supported gay rights and opposed SOGIE discrimination. Leni was open for same-sex civil unions.

Ryan, maraming Filipino-Chinese sa Mindanao. Si Duterte mismo sabi nya may dugo syang Chinese. Ang sinasabi mo tho na nang-aagaw ang mga mainlander ng China na sobrang mahal na mahal ni Gongdi na gusto nya maging probinsya tayo ng China. Kaya wag kang fake news.

The Constitution is clear and does not leave room for interpretation. The Senate is composed of 24 Senators, and a majority of 13 constitutes a quorum to do business. 13 votes to constitute a quorum. 13 votes to elect officers. A void election cannot create valid authority.
