Did you say live long past 65, when do you think you start collecting? Of course they exaggerated about the million dollars, but I'm certain that they paid in More than $32,000. The question remains, why isn't there a survivor clause for children to collect a percentage.? And why don't they allow more than $255 for burial. Burial allowance should be at least a year of benefits, since they won't pay any more after Death.? The average plain funeral is $10,000 +, depending on location. Why not give some dignity in Death.?

I have been pretty emphatic the last few days in condemning Pope Leo’s foray into American politics. My detractors are having fun stating that I am doing this out of allegiance to President Trump and that I have chosen Trump over God. WRONG. The biggest reason by far why I am so vocal on this is the damage Pope Leo is doing to the Catholic Church in the USA. I believe Pope Leo has done more to harm US Catholicism in just a few days than any other Pope of the past 100 years (even Francis). Pope Leo is literally causing orthodox, faithful American Catholics to flee the Church out of disgust over his leftwing politicization and his kowtowing to Islam. Moreover, he has opened the door for boundless criticism against Catholicism from certain Protestant denominations and churches, causing untold harm to Christian ecumenism in the USA. It is precisely because I care so much about the Church that Jesus founded in AD 33 that I oppose the havoc Pope Leo has unleashed in the US Church. (And yes, under Church doctrine and as a Catholic, I am fully entitled to hold such beliefs and express them.)

And you still can’t access or afford healthcare. And here’s the part no one wants to say - the system is working exactly as designed! The only two groups that can force real change are the consumer and the physician.And both are paralyzed. Patients have been conditioned to believe there are no alternatives. Physicians have been absorbed into systems they don’t control. Until one of those groups moves, nothing changes. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

The "kill shot" from Obamacare was age restrictions on catastrophic care. If you're 30 or over, you have to fit a very narrow window to be able to get catastrophic coverage. I know most catastrophic plans have a $10,000 deductible - but with my full plan (late 50s) I have the first $8300 essentially out of pocket anyway. Passing that limit on catastrophic forced a LOT of people into the "regular" system and make the health insurance companies wealthy - and Congress/FedGov even more powerful.

You also realize that this plan traps an aging senior in a home with stairs and extra bedrooms. Wait -- we should expand this to ANY house owned by an old person including vacation homes, third homes, big homes, mansions, palaces, commercial real estate investments! Great idea! Then the young family can pay more while buying diapers! Genius!

For decades, our seniors have worked hard, paid their taxes, and built their homes—brick by brick, year by year. I believe that once you reach 75 years of age, have lived in your home for 10 years or more, or have paid off your home, you should not be forced to keep paying property taxes just to stay under your own roof. That’s why I am fighting for property tax relief legislation to give our seniors the security and peace of mind they deserve. No senior should have to worry about losing their home after a lifetime of hard work and sacrifice. It’s time to honor our seniors—not burden them.
