I know this is unpopular, but it will always be unattractive for a grown man to play video games. Some women might be understanding or pretend like they don’t care that you spend hours playing, but they do. It is extremely unattractive to women and will never not be. 🤷🏼‍♀️

@lancemate @bea_johanssen @WallStreetMav @ChrisO_wiki I don’t have an example of an European nation asking the US to increase its defense budget, but for many decades they have pleaded with the US to keep troops throughout Europe because it is a deterrent and it’s cheaper than Europe having to build their own equivalent capabilities

1/ This is what it looks like on Europe-wide Gallup polls. Greenland is absolutely the thing that has destroyed approval of Trump, and the US, in Europe. Note that Denmark, formerly one of the most US countries in Europe, is now the most anti-US.

The headline says that the costs of Trump’s tantrums are “starting to show”. I don’t think Americans get that for Europeans, the Greenland debacle changed everything. It’s over. No one can trust the US. It’s not because of Trump. It’s because we know your system can’t/ won’t stop him or the next guy after him. And also that there’s enough of you who think it would be ‘cool’ to invade just to rub it in our faces. That’s a good enough reason to never trust you again and make everything far more transactional.

@tsunade_bb @KE_MrBlack There are electric boats with like 10 or more full sized solar panels that can only run their engines for a few hours before running battery banks dry, and those banks are 3x the capacity you would find in a Tesla. You could fit one such solar panel on the roof or a car.

@KE_MrBlack If you want to recover energy from a moving part you need to add friction to spin an alternator, the efficiency loss is more than you would gain. Recovery is done under braking because you can add all the friction you like then.

This man called for an Uber to take him to the airport while traveling in Egypt. The price was 250 Egyptian pounds whose is about $4.83 cents. The driver stops in the middle of the highway and now is demanding instead of the amount that was agreed on, that he wanted $250 USD instead of Egyptian pounds. The driver is still refusing to drive, the problem is if the man gets out, the driver will more than likely take off and steal his luggage as well. Paying him more isn’t an option either because at this point he’s almost holding you hostage because he knows you don’t have many options, what would you do in this scenario?

Yes it is hit with asteroids all the time but the chances of being hit in any one location are vanishingly small. So while NASA are taking a chance, odds are very much on their side.

I'm not basing it on optics and perspective. I am just comparing scale. The inflatable boat for example is very small yet is longer than the diameter of the capsule. You can see this clearly at certain points, not least when you notice the inflatable is clipped to capsule. There is no way on earth capsule retrieval protocol included clipping a boat to a bobbing metal capsule with an open hatch. It's a con.

The Artemis capsule is very small on the outside but remarkably large on the inside. Unless it is a Tardis this video is OBVIOUSLY fake. It also has a boat positioning glitch 23 seconds in. I thought the Artemis mission was real, but no longer.

@Emilyaustin EVERY time you build a new house, an engineer has to calculations to check it’s not going to fall over, how many nails to put in the sheathing to resist wind shear, what size a steel needs to be to carry a supporting wall, etc. Space is way more complicated than building a house.

@djrandyjohnson @CaseyMattox_ They are still in earths orbit, just an extremely high elliptical orbit, the moon will give them a bit of a speed bump to come back but they would still come back regardless. You are always in orbit of something in the solar system.

I don't think I had fully appreciated how this works, but it's obvious now. NASA is aiming for a point in space where they know the moon will be. Like throwing to a receiver, but on a somewhat larger and faster scale.

There are many many guides for league start builds out there that can full clear the atlas with max 10c items in every slot. Respeccing with gold gets very expensive after the campaign you should be buying and using regrets.

@lancemate @pathofexile I didn't progress enough in maps to be able to use a "strat". I don't even have the gold for a full respecc. That's how "bad" my league start is. Can't find upgrade, nor can't afford them now. The problem with easy currency, inflation hit sooner.

@Lebrewski__ @pathofexile Polar opposite imo, it’s easier to make currency than it’s ever been, I did 5 maps earlier on a basic deli mirror strat and pulled out 10 div. As a dad gamer I’ve felt more able to afford upgrades this league than I ever have.
