@Brcremer I don’t even know how church going Americans can use this logic because they constantly talk about how a human can never ever be perfect and only Christ can be perfect and he purposely chose to be sinless to pay our debts? It’s bizarre

@csmbunny @Invane_ @hostileworm Then how come every man on earth doesn’t have a clue who either of these people are . Can easily ignore them but you don’t because you have a parasocial relationship with them

@leshmit @Invane_ @hostileworm It’s not when they’re celebrities whose relationship is plastered everywhere, also of their own doing. To make inferences from repeated patterns is not beyond ppl

plump doll-like cheeks are venusian. hair with curls is venusian. a little extra body fat is venusian. venus supports and adores softness and curves. so who cares if these traits aren’t celebrated in current beauty standards, when goddess aphrodite herself isn’t bound by them

What we call borderline isn’t “fear of abandonment” or “fear of intimacy” or whatever flattering but meaningless therapy buzzwords people love to throw around, it’s a cluster of symptoms that basically amount to a failure to progress beyond childhood emotional development but that’s increasingly everyone now
Coddled Affluent Professional@feelsdesperate

A lot of people are mentally ill and completely emotionally dysregulated and so our ‘politics’ is becoming increasingly dependent on manipulating these tendencies.

What’s funny is how nobody who wrote a “Lena Dunham is bad and here’s why” article for any of the Gawker/Buzzfeed type sites has ever come anywhere close to writing something has good as the beach house episode of Girls and that’s just a fact.
Spencer Thomas@byspencerthomas

lena dunham is a generational talent and i am tired like pretending she is not. her pen is lethal and GIRLS is a testament to modernity and will continue to age well with the passing of the decades. no one can do it like her... anyways her piece in the new yorker is fabulous and i do want to attend her book tour. sue me (i wanna be uhh)!!!

Watching trees sway in the wind is a spiritual experience for me; there’s something very psychedelic about watching the leaves and churn and blend together in a pulsating sea; top 10 mundane experience for sure

I adore Michelle Pfeiffer But so we mortals can live with ourselves - whenever you see a movie star with no Botox, fillers, etc she’s had the very best work done by the very best guy with the very specific instruction that she doesn’t want it apparent.

Mi admiración por Michelle Pfeiffer. En una serie de este año. Los Madison. Sin rellenos, botox ni filtros. 67 años de pura mujer. De pura actríz.

New thing I’ve done when trying to learn about something is instead of going to google and clicking on the first wiki link or google and the first video (always horrible) is going to the second or third and reading from any other source. it is always, without exception, better

Trump right now in his live address: "We're going to hit [Iran] extremely hard over the next 2 to 3 weeks, we're going to bring them back to the stone ages where they belong." Pure savagery. And textbook genocidal: saying the Iranian people "belong" in the stone ages means he's targeting them as a people, which is the definition of genocidal intent. That's where letting Gaza happen without consequences gets you... Also pretty ironical to call others primitive while sounding like a barbarian king on bath salts.

@Stucaxzo Genuinely silly to open chains in Italy because there is literally a pizza place or a cafe on every corner, even in Borghi, that serve casual and heavy fare. Why would I wait 30 min to have bad pizza when the cafeteria or trattoria down the road is cheaper, better and faster
