@RodAVanier So, you agree Carney is a failure but you're just too Liberal to admit someone else might be better.

@monsturmun Since you have the ability to argue online without too much strain... there are more flexible ways to contribute and earn today than ever before. Start an online business, be a (paid) consultant, lead generation, tech support, etc.

I have heart issues and cannot work anymore, it's nice of you to try and send me to my death. Thanks
Loadedlen@loadedlen

@monsturmun If you're not rich, you better aspire to be an employee of the rich. Otherwise, you're a freeloader, feeding off other people who are either rich, or an employee of the rich. Get a fucking job and stop whining.

@HowAud40899 @nenshi Yes I do know the UCP is the government. And it's a majority government. And that majority will decide which map (or hybrid) becomes law. The commission’s recommendations are influential but not binding. You're pissed because rural Alberta won't roll over and die. Suck it up.

@loadedlen @nenshi How are you not getting this? You know the UCP is the government, right? You know it's the UCP members of the commission making up their own map after signing off on the bipartisan one, right? That IS rewriting maps, not just "reviewing".

“We urge the government to accept the majority report in its entirety. This is the only option to guard against partisan interference that would secure an electoral advantage for one party over another. To do otherwise invites litigation, unprecedented concern about the independence of the commission, loss of trust in basic electoral fairness, and a radical rejection of the voices of many Albertans who took time to weigh in on the redesign of the electoral map.”

@CanadianCoffey For someone so sure he'll never threaten the Liberals, you sure beak a lot about him. Singh and Trudeau resigned because they couldn't dodge scandals anymore, there was nothing altruistic about it.

They didn’t cling to the halls of power of a nation after blowing a 30 point in the general election lead and losing their own riding. They both resigned when they knew they were no longer helping their party. Honourable.
Scooch@NeoScooch

@CanadianCoffey He's still here, Trudeau and Singh are gone.

@ChristinaSFLaw @kylecmatthews @RussDiabo You call yourself a lawyer? Courts don't care about your feelings, they care about the law. No laws are being broken. Petitions and referendums are part of the system. Trying to shut down democracy in Alberta is going to have the opposite effect you think it will.

@ChristinaSFLaw @kylecmatthews @RussDiabo They won't. The petition is legal and approved by Elections Alberta. The petition itself doesn't threaten anything, and a referendum is about as democratic as it gets. Courts are extremely cautious about stepping on democratic processes.

@foolishyangban Uh huh. Realistic estimates put ticket prices at $100-$150 one way. No one is going to spend $65k/yr to ride a train to and from work everyday.

HSR would allow people in Ottawa to take jobs in Toronto and vice versa. Same for Montreal and Ottawa (<1 hr). No traffic, predictable schedules. You could also catch hockey, baseball, and basketball games without booking accommodations!

@lady_valor_07 Not quite. She tweeted that people who supported the overturning of Roe v Wade should never listen to her music, and said they can fuck right off. But who the fuck cares what artists think? Listen, don't listen... They can't tell you what to do.

@Jenniferl554563 If only people already voting for him listened, then why did it still pull 7M on a US based podcast? That’s mainstream reach. And nobody pays to be on the JRE, that's not how his show works. You are arguing against reality.

Pierre’s Poilievre’s episode got much less than Joe Rogan’s usual views. Pierre probably had to pay Rogan to be on the podcast. Because otherwise who besides Maple MAGA would actually care about a failed Canadian politician?
Marisa Dare 💙🇨🇦@marysed11

Pierre Poilievre's interview with Rogan got more than 4M views on Spotify. Add that to the 2.8M on YouTube and that's about 7M people who have watched it! Congrats Pierre 👏.

@LibOrNormal Rock Lobster is a genuine classic. Now, if bad is what you're after, you just have to skip ahead a few years to Starship's “We Built This City”. Truly awful. Anti-corporate rock that sounds like an overproduced corporate jingle. Absolute cringe. Not the band's best by a long shot

@JulieSDixon Your post nominals suggest you have a brain, and yet your post disproves that assumption. Harper led a stable, economically responsible government. 1.1 million private sector jobs created, lower taxes, steady GDP growth, surplus budget by 2015. Better check your facts.

@CanadianCoffey Really? My thoughts are that Carney should have been DOING HIS FUCKING JOB, rather than schmoozing the 3 by-election ridings trying to gain favor.

PM Carney went to Rosedale to endorse Danielle Martin. Today he’s doubling down on social media. This is leadership. Now go look for the same type of endorsement for Don Hodgson on Pierre’s account. You won’t find it. Pierre only cares about himself. NOT a leader.
Mark Carney@MarkJCarney

Danielle Martin is the right choice for University-Rosedale.    Early voting is open now and Election Day is April 13. Go vote — and send this health care champion and community leader to Ottawa.

"Forever Canadian" collected 404,293 verified signatures to keep Alberta as part of Canada. “Stay Free Alberta" independence petition announced on March 31, 2026, that they collected 177,732 signatures. @ABDanielleSmith How does it make sense to have a separation question added to the referendum??????

The Left Wing will be radical to the Rich only, the poor and middle class will know the NDP is their saviour really fast. Anyone who doesn't support the NDP is either Rich or is a employee for the Rich. End the American right wing media in Canada once and for all.
The Hill Times@TheHillTimes

Les Whittington: If Avi Lewis were to lead the NDP to power, his policies would make him the most radical leftist prime minister in Canada in decades, maybe ever. #cdnpoli hilltimes.com/?p=497747
